Michele Basart hug

What a boss u have there. Keep sharing your feelings here, as we understand.

A part of me feels gone now. I can not listen to his music now. For me it hurts too much. We all hurt and heal in the ways we need.

We have a new school vs old school music dance off sometimes. Tonight the kids danced to new school. When it was my husbands and my time to show em how old school does it I did not. Hearing any music from back in the day reminded me of our loss of Prince. old school played, not even Prince and I welled up. kids won this weekend.

It hurts and we will learn better how to carry it with time.I still can not believe it. It happened but It's hard to grasp that THE vault was opened. THE vault opened seems so unreal.

Yet a bird is singing outside my window right now comforting me with the thougt still have the music and memories. ut o two birds are jamming outside now..guess time to go to bed.

Prince...miss U!

Thank u for all you did for me and my personal life...

I met so many cool people at your concerts, here at the org or other places...

discovered so many other artists...

your music helped me to get through tough times, made me laugh, made me dance, made me cry...

Since i was 15 years old i followed your music and it was great journey...<3

It'll get easier. Time really does heal. Hang in there.

I think never being the same again is OK. He changed our lives while he was alive and now through his death. The fact that things are different confirms just how much of an effect he had on us. In other words, how we feel now and in the future is evidence of how meaningful his life was.

I still can't believe he's gone. I did my part to celebrate him this weekend.

I defintely feel everyone's pain. when the news broke it hit me like a bus. I was in line at a resturant and immediately left to sit in my car in silence. I was frozen, didnt want to believe it. then I started the engine and the chords to Purple Rain started and I knew for sure, breaking down right there. i think what hurts me the most is that my love and admiration is generally recent, the past 6-7 years. i'm 22, and his music was really the soundtrack of my adolescence and it had such a profound impact on me in the short time i was blessed to have him. i listened to music but i didn't KNOW music until Prince. i guess i feel a little cheated, you know? i figured i had time, time to attend his shows, bring my future kids to his shows, time to meet him and tell him how much he means to me. I've been feeling better though. it really helps to focus on and appreciate the good moments he gave us vs the obvious. last night I watched the Sign O The Times concert dvd and i found myself genuinely smiling for the first time in days. His energy, his talent, god, it was electric. for a moment it felt like I was there.

this is gonna be a process for sure.

Of course it will get easier with the time. But deep down we all know that the world has lost its pop.

Chris Brown is my name, and i am happy to be a part of this forum. Prince is one of my if not my most favorite artist. He will be truly missed. I know he is looking down on us, and cares for us. He was truly a professional, and cared about us and his music. He didn't compromise, his principles, and that is what I mostly admired about him. Sometimes in life you must stand up for what you believe in at all cost. This is why our country is so great.

i feel like a little kid... i just watch the amazing Dorthmund show on youtube.. i cant believe the quality and quantity of the stuff up there i mean its like a gold mine but in a way it feels wrong... alll the years of procuring these gems seems to have been somehow tainted.... thats what it was to find these shows even before the internet broke...in a way a whole new generation of P fans will be born but part of me says so what id rather have the skipper back... why did he leave so soon... this is still so horrible goin on the 2nd week
