If Amanda Palmer spent more time writing and releasing songs and less time interacting with her audience on social media i'd be a much happier fan.

Anyway, as she's said herself, what works for her doesn't work for other people. It would NEVER work for Prince.

Actually probably the best musician on social media is Ezra Koenig from Vampire Weekend.

You act like its something a person should aspire to to spend all of their time on social media trying to appease unappeasable fans. BS. They should be creating music, performing, doing what they're passion is. When they have the money for it, get a pr firm to handle all that shit for them.

I think it's really funny how she took out Dr Funkenberry with just ONE line. You know a girl is not to be messed with when she can make people do things they were not intending to do: like, ya know, call out their boss.

Prince doesn't know about hacking. He wouldn't necassarily know for sure what happened. Either way, the damgae was minimal before Funkenberry started talking. DF exposed Prince, while trying to expose the girl who did the hack, to Prince, lol.

What are Prince's OTHER women to think, now that Dr Funkenberry, a Prince insider, put his name on the accusation that Prince was dicking-down this girl and the relationship has gone bad?

Then he tried to fix it and took more potshots at Prince, before claiming his diabetes was high or something and signing off. That man probably blew up the best thing he had going, after one of Prince's side-pieces cat-clawed him publicly.

All he had to do was stay quiet. Let Prince get the free publiciy and he and his GF could either work it out or move on . Prince would have owed him one. But no.

Funk was apparantley still smarting over the fact that Prince gave this beatiful young girl the job he was had coveted for rent money and whatnots. He sees this as his oppurtunity to push her out the circle for good and maybe get Prince to write that check he'd asked him for. BTW, I think the girl was best qualified for the job and Prince made a good choice. Even with the hack, all she really did was give him free pub, breathe life into his boring public image and vent what everybody at Paisley was already thinking anyway.

BTW, I don't know if Funk has girlfriends or not, but clearly he don't know much about relationships....So he goes and calls her out publicly. He exposes Prince as a philaderer, a cheap azz, and says he doesn't care about his fans. Through the hack, Funkenberry said Prince, "GOT WHAT HE DESERVED"! OOOOUCH!

Hold up... all this from Prince's OFFICIAL spokesman!?!?! Funk called the girl unprofessional, but she had a real reason to be upset if the two of them are mixing business with pleasure.

Prince and ole' girl could end up somewhere having make-up sex and Funk will never have credibility again. All because he really wanted Prince to pay him, for shit he volunteered to give Prince for free.
