lots more tweets from funkenberry in the last 10mins. Mainly about the (lack of) remasters. He claims not to know who did it - an insider or a fan. I guess differently. I don't think we'll ever know the truth though sad

How difficult is it technically to hack a facebook account? Are we sure this was done by someone who knew the password?

It had to be someone who was in "Prince camp" or however you want to call it. Either that or one pissed-off fan spent countless days and succeeded in trying to figure out the password "OmeletsTasteSoGood7" or "WarnerBrosCanSuckIt" or "NoRemaster4U"
I know what I said before was a big rant on how immature this is, how lame it is and unfunny it is and I'll still stand by that but I think what I want to find out more than anything is what was the password he chose for it? That seems a kind of interesting a little bit

I find the different fonts on the funkenberry fascinating. Some are exactly the same font/spelling as was on the 3rdeyegirl twitter and other are standard. If they are all by the same person why switch the fonts about? strange.

.

So I see but I take that as if he's trying to cover up and play safe for the statements he made earlier.

He's having quite a tantrum and sounds a little frustrated but I feel he got himself involved by his initial tweets about the "hack"...

.

First talking about loyalty, not getting paid, vengeance, scorned women, running social media, etc...and now he says he doesn't know if it was an insider or a fan or both?!

Well where did he get all of the previous stuff from then and why did he care to tweet it if it wasn't relevant to the "hack"....he could have said nothing at all?! DUH! disbelief

.

To me it's not very convicing at all what he's tweeting now...while his initial statements were very specific/direct and one can see it as "spilling tea".

He probably realized that he gave away too much info in a situation where it would have been best for him to say nothing at all! twocents

It could be what he was mentioning about characters and trying to fill what he has to say into that so u switch a too or to to a 2 or a you to a u to make it fit? Interestign what he said about misinterpretation though. It does happen a lot when reading online. This whole thing is a mess. He does not have good people around him. That much is clear. Anyone notice that Kiran (his former manager) was favoriting some of those tweets? Hmm.

It's called trying to cover one's ass. wink

However, that's probably the most REAL he's been since he started carrying the water for Prince for free while asking for 'donations' from the fans, and bs'ing them. I don't buy his latest story one bit. His ego is out of control. He thinks HE is famous and you can read that in his those last 20 tweets or so.

At the same time though he really just tried to provide insight into a situation, he knew NOTHING about for sure. Prince regularly puts all those in his inner circle in situations they can't possibly handle well. DF fumbled this one, but I'm going to get off his case about it. Besides, his apartment is clean now. biggrin

Whoever did it would have had to have more than the password though. To re-activate a "deleted" FB page, you have to also have access to the original email address that was used to sign up the account in the first place because you have to be able to respond to the confirmation email that FB sends before the page goes back online. Either that or the phone number associated with the account. That's just the way it is. shrug

As I said yesterday, this was no random hacker. I said and believe that because there was nothing to be gained for a random hacker, ie...notoriety, access to hidden vault files, Prince's credit card or banking info, old Vanity 6 nude selfies ohgoon Nothing! Y'all get the point. lol

When he was posting stuff as j7 on here, I had a problem with it but the org didn't. As Funkenberry I don't mind it, but everyone else does. The only thing that has changed is the name and social media. Was doing the exact same thing. If it isn't him, it will just be someone else so not sure why it matters so much. Funkenjelly. she totally iced herself over, and poor thing just doesn't have enough juice to get him to give her what she wants lolololol

i think prince read the 4-hour work week and bought all that garbage about outsourcing cheaply, the only guy who makes money like that outsourcing CHEAPLY are guys who write books about outsourcing cheaply .....

nobody wants to work for free and Prince really needs to stop dabbling in the youngsters and expecting adult results. they can't cut it. i get the reason to at least try, i tired in my business but for every GOOD under 30 employee i had that was worth paying, there were at least 30 of them who weren't worth the time for the interview.

prince needs to seriously stop dipping in the millenial pool and spend on the professionals who won't do dumb bs like this. its a write off for him anyway - i dont get not spendin the money ....

True true. I think it was someone who helped him out with the account (like people who helped that site from what I heard sucked in 2009) and then they got their feelings hurt and retaliated by this.. meh, we may never know..

Social media rules

#1 when it's for kids and family it's great...as long as you don't over share.

#2 it's also useful for D-list celebrities in need of attention

#3 For legendary figures, if you like to keep your dignity, you stay away from it yourself..unless you NEED a great PR firm to post on your behalf to play clean-up

Hopefully we get a song from this fiasco, ala 'Old Friends 4 Sale' and 'Hello'.

Huh, the only thing FB is good for IMO is sending private messages to family or friends that you can't get in touch with any other way...more applicable to the younger generation than mine.

Wait, Funkenberry was Jseven or Prince was JSeven? Or was Prince using someone else to post as JSeven for him kind of like how Funkenberry posts for him on twitter now? Sorry I'm confused.

Also why has this just turned into "ITT: We bash a generation of people"? We aint all bad.

What a pathetic spectacle, naysayers creaming their panties over some hacker.

The only people that care are this small group of people who feel traumatized they stopped getting their Prince just the way they like it but had the bad idea to stick around, as if their constitutional rights had been denied.

There are more grown up reactions to not getting what you want. Hacking an account isn't one of them.

Creaming your panties about it either.

You're one of the ones I always see creaming their pants. People can say what they want when they want. Stop creaming your pants like you're his brother protecting his virginity and his honor. It's just fans having fun, don't take it so seriously

Like anything else, you can get out of it, what you put into it. There are lots of celebrities that are utilizing FB beneficially for them and their fans. Sheila E's FB page (to use a Princely related example) kicks ass. She engages with her fans, keeps us up to date on her current projects and endeavors, makes many uplifting, inspirational, philosophical commentary and shamelessly roots for her favorite sports teams. I truly enjoy seeing her statuses on my newsfeed.

I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart.

Oh boo fucking hoo! For all intents and purposes, whomever did this was not a hacker nor a naysayer. It was more likely than not, yet ANOTHER suddenly DISILLUSIONED member of the Leave Prince Alone Brigade of the #PurpleArmy recklessly vying for some attention. hmph!

Had they been trying to cream this naysayer's panties, they'd have posted the video footage of Prince opening up for Rick James' Fire It Up tour! hammer
