Call me crazy.... but those posts look EXACTLY like what Prince used to post on AOL back in the day. ALL CAPS and saying things so derogatory about himself that most fans would be like, "Prince is bad, but he isn't that bad!"

Whoever hacked it needs to seek advice on that nasty fixation issue.

The real Prince would have announced the PR remaster.

Everything Jessie Johnson does, Prince has to follow. First Jessie grew an afro, then Prince grew an afro. Jessie's Facebook got 'hacked' and started posting cryptic bs, then Prince's Facebook gets 'hacked' and does the same.

He would just regurgitate the worst things he read fans or media say about him, only in a much more extreme and nasty manner, where as a fan, you'd be hurt to the point that you'd come to Prince's defense against this loudmouth a-hole... who, as it turned out was Prince himself. Weird as hell, I know, but it was true. Some of those Facebook messages match the profile. IDK, Prince may just be having a moment to vent on Facebook.

So who confirmed that those AOL posts were indeed made by Prince? How do you know for sure?

From the same account, he asked fans to build what became the Love4OneAnother website.

Is it a little weird none of the girls have tweeted anything? Like to say it was a hack or something, Hannah has been active on Facebook or Even Dr Funkenberry?


Also, I hope whever it was knew how to log on annonymously (fake IP or something) because Im sure there will be an impending lawsuit along the lines of defamation of character maybe?

It sounds like attention seeking behaviour. It's like what tweens do when they feel inadequate so they put facebook statuses saying they're ugly because they know their friends will back them up

As for it being Prince, it's believable for him. He does sound like a very lonely person and if what you say was happening in the late '90s it would be right after the baby and Mayte so when you're in a mentally confusing place it would be understandable. As for what happened today, IDK it could be him? Or it could be a pissed off associate. Who knows.

I hope Prince goes into seclusion and just woodshed for a few months and devote some long hours to writing and recording like he did from September 1993 to January 1994 and make a personal album. This may or may not be the catalyst to writing songs about what was in those hacked statuses but Prince's sarcasm and wit has always been part of his writing process. P could use these last few months as a source to write about fan entitlement, the world around him and strange relationship he has with certain fans.

It's not Prince.. No way.. Pretty sure it's a disgruntled associate of sorts it's pretty obvious...

The things that are being said show that it gotta be a fan "in the know" who is behind this hack. This whole thing will probably get plenty of press which is always handy when you wanna start a tour etc...so who knows how it works out for Prince in the end!

More reasons it doesn't seem like a hack:

-Were it a hack, I'd expect a private data dump. Meaning the hacker would have posted sensitive or private info, not just wild opinions.

-Mic-drop. Account goes from deactivated, to activated, entertaining as hell, then deactivated, in 2hrs. Very Hit-N-Run like. Just like the work of a professional entertainer.

Any former P employee with the password could've done that, until P camp realized what happened and had FB deactivate the acct for good.
