haha I edited because I didn't want to sound to harsh, its great that he finally released it though. I was a little thrown off because it's slower, and funkier, I just got to hear the whole thing. I love the original though, I can't help it.

This one kind of goes though with who he is now, slow is down and make it funkay, you have me over here laughing tho with the THIS IS WHACK, I could imagine you saying that in the studio with Prince after he played it for the fans

Because that shit was DOPe, that's why! This is so boring sounding....

I think it was just unexpected, its something we all have to get use to. Put on your funk hat and bob your head to the beat, it prob sounds really funky live. Usually songs like that sounds really good live, its the initial shock that he slowed it down.

am not 2 familiar with this tune but it sounded funky. i liked the effect on the bass which gave it a P-Funk feel...

Just played it LOUD, and I like it. I can't play the original one at high volume, because of the bad sound quality.

Anyway I'm happy that he releases things again. A studio version of the renewed and more powerful "she's always in my hair" would also be cool.

Imagine a 15 minute version of this song on an aftershow

Well, the beginning is bit ''slow'' but it build up a bit. I kinda like it. but it's not amazing.

Also. I don't like Andy her rap...

The original version gets it's power from the Energy, guitar and hornyness.

I really need to listen more to get excited about the new version.

At this point I'm as wet as a puffed rice cake.

I'm usually positive on new stuff but this is unlistenable...cheesy synths...too slow....

I like it but yeah, I can uderstand why people are not into it, nowhere near as powerful as the original. I guess this will appeal to newer fans but leave the older ones with a bitter taste in their mouths.

If you look at my post, I said that I rate most of P's latest stuff, hardly ever moan and actually rate 20ten as one of my favourite albums. So instead of just being rude to people, would you like to make some valid comments on it?

It is time we claimed back an org where people were OK to have an honest comment without people like you shouting back at them with no good reason. My opinion is that the original is significantly better than this. Get over it.

He should've released it back then. This version sounds like what it used to be: just an outtake not good enough to release. Production is just... not good. He's still the coolest dude on earth though. I'll never stop seeing him live and will always buy his albums. I own him that. His music changed my life. But when it's not good it's not good.

As far as this new version of Extraloveable, he's decided to make this a keyboard/synth based funk. Why is Andy doing her best impersonation of Eve on here though? Her rap reminds me very much of the Adam & Eve mix of The Greatest Romance. In fact, as a result of her appearance on the track, that's what the whole thing starts to bring to mind.
