It includes songs from June 27 until now, the survey includes soundchecks and aftershows.

The song are displayed randomly, maybe i'll sort them later on in a specific sequence.

A fourth categorie ‘W2A: American tour leg’ is not counted with the total number of songs, but is also displayed here. (in the making, will be posted later on)

Please let me now if something needs to be edited, I’ll keep the list updated as more shows sceduled this summer.

(There was one song from the ‘Come’ album performed during the W2A tour, which one? and where?)

Currently: 95 different songs have been played yet.

70 Prince songs (63 + 7)

25 cover songs

Source: Princevault.com (many thanks!)

[Edited 7/7/11 4:07am]

I would argue that if the song was played over the PA during the "Sampler" set, that it doesn't count. Nobody has to rehearse for Karaoke. In fact, if less than 2 min of any song is played, that is just a short cut.

"Hello, Welcome to the Dawn...You've Just become an official member of the New Power Generation." "Your NPG Lunchbox and Membership Card will be in the mail soon." "This lame interlude will get worse each year you own this album."

In fairness if you mean it's a cover.. I effectively called it hearing a Prince song at the Poland show as he's done a studio version cool

Move to Covers:

A Case of U

Crimson & Clover

Plus, has always been a big question mark over who wrote Jungle Love (Jesse Johnson) and Mountains (Wendy & Lisa).

I don't think any sample set or snippet (like piano medleys) can't count as a full song.

I know what u mean but you can argue that it is a tool/instrument played live by prince as performance smile

(I wouldn't be satisfied though)

I am fair also.... And I effectively call it hearing a Tommy James song covered by PRINCE and a nice cover to boot.

Thank you all for commenting.

'Crimson & Clover' and 'A Case Of U' are now considered as cover songs.

The songs from the sampler set are displayed, but not counted.

In Montreal he also did a cover (well, Shelby did) of Janet Jackson's WHAT HAVE YOU DONE FOR ME LATELY.

Yeah, I love Graffiti Bridge movie, so what? ''Oooooooooooh Montreal, say it!''
If you can't be nice to someone on the net, you probably ain't worth much talking to in real life either.

40% of songs played during a concert are covers. It's ridicolus, who cares about covers? if i go to Prince concert i want to listen to Prince songs!

Not one of my favorites, though. I almost forget that one myself, even I was present when he did it. lol

Does anyone know the name of the song that was played as a bridge between Joy In Repetition and The Love We Make on the Saturday at the NSJ (the second show)? Prince mentions something like 'nothing more' and Andy sings... or isn't that a song but alternative lyrics to the beat of The Love We Make?
