Me thinks someone has access to the vault.......it was only a few weeks ago someone started a post about this recording...

if that is the fact....my next request is Minneapolis, fine line cafe 5-12-1987...biggrin

My life would be complete if that were released in this quality.

This has always been one of my fav. shows. I am looking forward to hearing it. Great to see stuff like this have the care and love that they deserve.

The expanded version of my book PRINCE and The Purple Rain Era Studio Sessions 1983-1984 was released in November 2018. (www.amazon.com/gp/product/1538114623/ref=dbs_a_def_rwt_bibl_vppi_i0) or www.facebook.com/groups/1...104195943/

Right now, my vote would go to the New Morning 1987 aftershow, just for "What Did I Do?".

There's a thread on MoQuake about this ("What would you like to start circulating next?"):

http://moquake.com/forum/...&t=178

But I'm happy to have what we got lately. "Box O' Chocolates", the extended version of "Can I Play With U?", "The 1994 Radio Promo DAT", "The Bird Rehearsal", the "4 Lust" outtake, etc. Now "From The Soundboard - 1984 Birthday Show". We live in exciting times. biggrin

Wondering whether "Our Destiny" and "Roadhouse Garden" got the "overdub" treatment at some point, like "All Day, All Night"...

It's almost unrecognisable from the audience version!

I would like to hear this quality of the track 'All Day, All Night' with the keyboard overdubs, sounds naked without it.

Great to hear almost studio sounding versions of Our Destiny and Roadhouse Garden ...love the bridge between them its great.

Wendy & Lisa worked on them later, so that would be yes. smile

Insane. First that excellent recording from 1986, and now this?

Wow, this blows "26" away! The quality is crazy. Like everyone mentioned, I can finally hear the lyrics to Our Destiny! And I now have to rank Brownmark as my favorite Prince bassist over Levi, he tears that thing up! Bravo for this release, can't wait for what's next, maybe a video of this show.

Can I just ask from anyone who may have the info to hand how this was obtained? The reason being, SO many times boots are classed as 'Soundboard' when they're nothing but rips from video footage, which is far from the same thing.

If this is true soundboard, I'm going to be all ova it. If it's a simple low-generation video rip, I'll pass.

How about you download it and listen to it?

How about you get off your fucking high horse and stop being so presumptuous?

For the record, I did. It doesn't hurt to ask though. So STFU.

I'd give this boot 5 star's and that's RARE for me to do but, the clarity and the energy of this boot-set is phenomenal

Wow...thank you so much! This really is an exciting moment. Listening now and cannot say anything to add to all the high praise of others. Wonderful, historic moment for the org! I think we are all (temporarily) in agreement on here

UN-BE-LIE-VA-BLE!!!

This is a treasure! The sound is perfect, I always loved this gig! Masterpiece that comes in addition to the others (Paris 86', The Small Club, Rotterdam 86',...).

Thanks to all the people involved in this project, first of all the person who recorded the show! What a great moment for all of us!

Thirdly: Prince gives a live Q&A live on the Org, claiming the Internet is alive again, only to be torn to shreds by the org boo boys... sad

Listened a couple more times...

Still don't get all the love for Our Destiny or Roadhouse Garden. These 2 just do not do it for me. The only thing I find interesting about them at all is finally being able to clearly hear them. Unfortunately, I just don't like 'em....

That said, I am absofrikkinlutely LOVING: Noon Rendezvous, Erotic City, Something In The Water, Irresistible Bitch & Possessed, as well as liking most of the rest. These 5 tracks, though, WOW!!

Like others have said.... Box of Chocolates, Can I Play With U, 4 Lust, now this!! Great time to be a fan of the underground type bootleg recordings! Hope there's more to come...

Not dead, not in prison, still funkin'...
