So? Look at yourself and see how your business dealings go.

Would you say that P comapres to the average person around you w.r.t. financially related mishaps?

(i.e.: do not look at the scale but the occurrence)

You can't honestly sit here and tell me that every musician has their shit together. So what he doesn't pay his bills.

Ask that the person he owes money to.

Ask P what it says in teh bible about that.

Ask P what Larry says about that.

At least we're not hearing about him being charged for rape or child molestation or public intox. No one is perfect. So you can believe that fairytale if you want to.

You are way too forgiving. Really.

Is it so hard to hire someone to fix stuff?

P tries to be a cheapskate but fails to often while trying.

Well it does not really matter now,Tom Joyner announced on 98.7 Kiss FM this morning right after they played Let's Work, that Prince has paid the money , so it is still his property.

I just love it when orgers such as yourself take apart everything I say and miss the whole point of the statement. You have way too much time on your hands, maybe you should handle P's money. The man paid the bill. Shut up already. It's old news.

And this is what he owes for PP...

This is freaking ridiculous! I see why he is so pissed bout paying anything in that state. I've heard alot of people complain about how high the taxes are in Minnesota. I'd be fuming too, I hate just paying the taxes on my places and its 100x less than this. Taxes suck!

If he hates it so bad then sell it and get the f out. Everyone else has to pay...poor baby whaaaa whaaa.

Honestly, he probably had no idea he owed taxes. I seriously doubt he keeps up with his money at all except when he gives some to charity. He has a staff that is supposed to take care of this crap and he often hires people who don't know what they're doing simply because the akashic records, (which are totally incompatible with the JW faith) told him to.

Dig if u will THIS picture:

Imagine Prince and Larry Graham were flying somewhere. Suddenly the pilot dies. Suppose there was a child-molesting, no-bill-paying scumbag on board. This guy, though distasteful to most, happens also to be a 20-year veteran pilot with a major airline. If it were up to Prince, he would choose Larry Graham to try and land the plane.

Prince is choosing not to accept reality. He has always done it and he will continue to do so. It's his deal. Let him alone.

Tell me about it. Can't this man have a life? I mean seriously does it really matter to any of us whether he pays his bills? Is that gonna stop you from going to his concerts or buying his albums? No its not. You're gonna be standing right next to me in line. lol

No one knows Prince's business surrounding the circumstances that led to the potential foreclosing on his property no more than millions of others around the country (business) that's facing that same situation, unless you hear it firsthand from that person. When Prince confides in someone hear on the org.. then...can you please share it with the rest of us?...until then...

Everyone is required to pay taxes...many don't...can't! I will venture to say, Prince will always stay above water (regardless)..many of the rest??

You forget to emphasize that the many forclusres are about mostly first homes and that people either cannot pay or are walking away because the mortgage is too far under water.
P has his first home elsewhere and has supposedly plenty of cash as indicated by paying off the mortgage in full while avoiding foreclosure.
All this makes stuff happening to P more strange.

And that's why I don't wonder or care about his financial dealings for that reason (his wealth)...strange or not. Like i said, " he's going to keep his head above water." I'm sure he sleeps fine at night in that regard ...while many others are not so fortunate.

The only thing I care about is that he keeps giving it to us in LA like he has being doing!!

Hmm, I didn't expect to learn about foreclosures from a online (Prince) fan community. I work in the For Sale By Owner business and you know what, I really dont' care, especially now that the payment has been paid. Thanks for the clarification udo ...

Everybody should just calm down.

There is nothing going wrong here.

It's just Prince, not having anybody to manage his business affairs and only paying up his dues at the last moment.

No big deal really when nothing really bad happens. How many of y'all have done the same (over and over) in their lives?

But it IS a pattern.

Surely he shoudl hire somebody to clean some mess up.

Ipoetic.. are you solliciting?! smile

A foreclusore discussion medium?
Foreclosures are booming business even though they mean bad news: housing needs to be written off or to be kept on the banks books for another while...

biggrin hahahaha!

i think it's obvious prince is just too busy to be keeping track of things especially at the minute with his 21 nights and his assigned person (if he doesn't do these things himself) is a little negligent.. why is this being played out in such a dramatic way?

Default on Prince property prompts foreclosure proceeding

» Read similar stories filed under:

Housing By Richard Crawford editor@chanvillager.com Property owned by music icon Prince is undergoing foreclosure proceedings and is scheduled to be sold at a sheriff sale on May 13 unless the mortgage is reinstated before then. The 20-acre property, located at 7141 Galpin Blvd. in Chanhassen, formerly was the site of Prince’s home, which was demolished in 2005. According to the foreclosure notice published in the Chaska Herald, the original amount of the mortgage for Prince R. Nelson was $605,000 in 1994. The amount due on the mortgage is $368,382. Carver County property tax records estimate the land value of the property at more than $1 million. According to the law firm of Wilford & Geske, there is a decent likelihood that the mortgage will be reinstated prior to the May 13 sale. To reinstate the mortgage, delinquent mortgage payments would need to be made current.
