Renegotiation indicates that the terms of the loan changed. There is no evidence of that.

I don't think you get the essence of a mortgage in a normal situation, which is not the case in the whole of the USA.

A mortgage is a contract to pay, during a certain time, at regular intervals, a certain sum to pay off the total debt that was agreed to be paid off.

So if P stops paying, he is not following the contract. He is infringing or whatever is the american term.

So why would the bank or whatever simply agree that P starts paying again after a certain while?

In a normal situation P would be deemed a higher risk, so a higher interest rate or other different terms would be instated.

In the USA however, the banks are happy if you just pay -even after a short mortgage holiday- so they might, as you imply, do nothing.

All of this is because of the cri$i$, or the dollar situation in a more broad sense.

Now why would P let this happen?

I mean: would he normally write a cheque (yes, we don't use them anymore) to pay a part of the mortgage? Wouldn't it be easier to do automagic, electronic payments each month?

If the latter was the case, did P stop the payments?

Did his account run out of cash?

Is he bored and is he playing games?

This is not the only thing that he did not pay so this is a clear inidication of either cashflow issues or bad will or simply the mess that his administration is in or perhaps a lack of interest towards the real world.

Ok, So i was watching the local Twin Cities news last night and saw this.. they had said it is scheduled to auction and Prince has paid it off in full I'm confused! If he has paid why are they auctioning it? What is up?

This is freaking ridiculous! I see why he is so pissed bout paying anything in that state. I've heard alot of people complain about how high the taxes are in Minnesota. I'd be fuming too, I hate just paying the taxes on my places and its 100x less than this. Taxes suck!
