I think so. They are selling an exclusive shirt from the first Forum show as well. Will the concert footage be from the first show?

A quick recap:

George Lopez interviewed by Harriet Cole (of Essence? not sure)

George states how he was honored that Prince asked him if he could perform on his show.

Showing a concert performance at one of the Charlotte, NC shows. Now Prince is singing and dancing to "Cool" - all 3 singers in the spotlight in that take. Picture is very clear.

Now "Let's Work" woot! Prince and the singers are daincing to "Let's Work" ;they showed the whole part of that concert - again the 3 singers were given the spotlight in that take.

Snippet of him ;singing "DMSR";

An interview with Shelby J

Twinz interviewed -stated how Prince does some of the choreography

Very quick statement by Morris Hayes to interviewer

Other celebs speaking - Boris Kodjoe, Mila Kunis, Maya from SNL, and other celebs that went to his show - they're basically praising Prince

They showed audience members on stage dancing (more than likely from the NC show)

Now they're showing different images of Prince

They showed snippets of his performance on George Lopez's show - a snippet of him singing "LayDown"

Pic of him and Misty doing "Beautiful Ones"

Comments from many fans talking to interviewer/camera about the show and Prince-- who knows some of you fans may be on there

Credits rolling while there's a live version in the background playing of Prince singing "Raspberry Beret"

It was a pretty good half-hour show. George Lopez was very honored and humbled that Prince performed on his show. The Africa channel is advertising the upcoming LA shows for the 21st, 22nd and 23rd, every 5 minutes and showing a snippet of him performing "Let's Work".

Maybe drfunkenberry will be able to post it on his site, if he gets permission to do so.

PRINCE: BEHIND THE SYMBOL: 1/2 show

The show repeats at 1am Monday morning if you're still up;

Repeats:

Sunday, 12am(w/be monday morning)

Tuesday, 4/19 - 8pm

then again at 11:00pm EST( right after they show the broadway performance of "FELA on Broadway" )

Wednesday, 4/20 - 9pm EST

and 12am(Thursday morning)

I believe 8pm/11pm

Thanks for the heads up. In the Cali bay area, if you have comcast its channel 297. Damn that's like a boot from Charlotte, clean and clear as a muhhafucca. If I were in the boot loop, this would be a prime ass show. If you can find it on your cable/satellite provider, it will re air on tuesday 8 and 11 est. Damn this is " COOL " . Damn, they're showing snippets from The Forum, whoever put this together got exclusive footage. He's behind this for sure. For those in the boot loop, these shows were filmed in HD, clear as glass, I'm sure you'll brag about them. NO I'm not asking in anyway, no misinterpretations at all.

Leave it to Prince to air something on a channel that the majority of his fans can't access!! Idgit! lol

I understand if he wanted to give an underdog minority channel like the Africa Channel a bone, but damn! As crappy as BET is, I'd rather it go on there. At least most satellite/cable systems have that channel! Oh well, I'm sure it will be online anyway VERY fast!

Some folks don't have BET either.lol Anyway, I guess he's trying to reach as many demographics as he can. Give it a chance, it may show up elsewhere. There were a lot of audience members interviewed and thanking Prince for his music or just the show. They gave a good 10 to 15 minute showing of part of the Charlotte, NC show ("Cool";"Let's Work" performances). All the background singers were shown doing their thing in the spotlight. As I'm typing this, the commercial about Prince:Behind the Symbol is being shown again. They keep advertising the LA shows for the 21st, 22nd, and 23rd nonstop, and keep showing a snippet of the "Let's Work" performance...every 5 minutes..if they keep it up, I'm going to go to sleep with that song in my head.lol

Yeah, but like I said, a lot more people have access to BET than the Africa Channel! But like you said, I'm sure it'll pop up somewhere shortly.

I guess they meant to state just "21 nite stand" and not "W2A". I watch this channel all the time and it's a very good channel, and lives up to what it presents. Thanks to the orger who notified me of the show tonight on there. hug

There is a trailer up on their main page.

http://www.theafricachannel.com/

Different video here:

http://www.youtube.com/user/africachannel5?feature=mhum

Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it.

Yes, Fela on Broadway sort of behind-the-scenes special, will be shown on Tuesday night at 8pm on the Africa Channel. I saw it on broadway twice in NYC when it was here. It ended in December.
