The picture above depicts Emperor Haile Selassie's wife and daughters. The third young lady standing from left to right was the couple's second daughter, Princess Zenebework, born 1918. In 1932, at the age of 14, she was married to 46-year-old Dejazmach Haile Selassie Gugsa, great-grandson of Emperor Yohannes IV, in an attempt to strengthen relations within the Imperial Dynasty.

In 19"33", not yet 15, she died suddenly, with the reported cause of death being 'alleged mistreatment by her husband.' Unbeknownst to many, and hushed and kept quietly by less than a handful of selected few, was another segment to that mistreatment allegation. That being, complications of childbirth contributing to her suspicious demise. Also alleged is that although unfortunately the Princess had indeed expired, the child, however, had survived.

The Emperor was distraught and angry with his son-in-law and ordered that his daughter's body be flown at once to Addis Ababa for interment, and her remains now lie in the family crypt underneath the Holy Trinity Cathedral in Addis Ababa.

"33" years later in 1966, the Emperor made an historic visit where his welcoming is still a bewilderment to many. Among his many meetings was reportedly an encounter with someone very, very special to the Emperor, whose likeness was said to be so remarkable it was distinctly unquestionable.
