actually I wouldn't go in one of those either
That's it, only it's red, so presumably it goes faster
He is an aerobatics pilot, which is all very exciting, but equally terrifying to a non-flyer.
Also, not much room in one of those for...shenanigans.

So according to moquake.com, there's rumors that some of the shows will be at Madison Square Garden and the IZOD Center in NJ. Don't know how true it is, but that's what's stated at their site. We'll see if drfunkenberry has any news on that. |

not doubting this but, the garden would have be dates where both the knicks and rangers would be away on the same dates. same would be about the izod center in jersey. anything on the garden or izod's websites of open dates? man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81 |

Someone on moquake.com listed some of the open dates for MSG on moquake.
There's the "Theatre at MSG" and there's the "Arena".
The Arana seats 19,500 and the "Theatre at MSG" seats 5,600. So who knows, the aftershow could be at the smaller theatre inside MSG or he may choose to have the concert series at the "Theatre at MSG" which is much smaller than the arena. This is all still speculation to be honest, until there's some real confirmation as to the actual location of these shows..

For anyone interested, though no fucker will be since it never took place in the US, Prince played in Bergen Norway last night.
He opened the set with The Love We Make, which looked nice, and Sheila E sang The Glamorous Life.
Looked like a good gig.
Dr Shitberry provides a link to youtube, where you will also find other clips.

Price of admission just for Mountains live.
With all his hits I have to wonder why he does so many covers. "I'm not human I'm a dove, I'm ur conscience. I am love" |

I am totally at a loss with regards to the serious neglect of the U.S. I mean what is the deal? Are we to be punished for unknown reasons? Why did we not even rate a CD release? I Rock, Therefore I Am. I Don't Need You To Tell Me I'm In The Band. |

I doubt that. Maybe we'll get a different deal than what was released in the U.S. Just look forward to the Welcome2America tour. |

It has been forever since he has done a full scale tour in the States, he spends more and more of his time touring Europe. And this new concept on CD and how they are distributed sucks. So yes, Mike...serious neglect, and knowing Prince (the Gemini) there is always a reason for his actions; not knowing is the problem. [Edited 10/21/10 8:38am] I Rock, Therefore I Am. Just be grateful that he's at least going to be performing a series of concerts in the U.S.. I don't get where you get the idea he's neglecting the U.S. He hasn't played in Asia, South America or Australia in ages but I wouldn't say he is neglecting those regions, so why then, when it comes to the U.S. you somehow infer that as being neglected? How can he be neglecting the U.S. when he basically played one off shows that at the Nokia Theater, Club Nokia and Conga Room just last year, and television appearances on Ellen and Leno. I don't get what being a Gemini has to do with anything either. In just the 2000-2010 decade he has toured the U.S. three or four times (Hit N Run Tour, A Celebration (cancelled after six shows), One Nite Alone... Tour and the Musicology Tour), not to mention touring with Támar and also the 3121 residency. I mean the guy has been in Australia like twice in over thirty years (from my understanding), so where do you get off saying that he's neglecting the U.S. |

as a american i your response and agree with u. he's only done 2 aussie stints and even a handful of japan shows. this whole "he's neglected the United states" is just bullshit 2 me, but i think it may stem from not touring the US during Sott, the diamonds and pearls tour and so forth. the world is a smaller place tho if u look for it and since i know where 2 go, i could care less where he tours..just drop the fucking hits out of the setlist already and just do the purple medley and call it a day..leave room 4 the latest material instead then maybe i'll give a damn about where he is playing live at man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81 |

I did not say he had not done any live performances here , I said he has not toured the U.S.
One should not be expected to purchase plane tickets to L.A. or Vegas just to see him. Also, I know I can get a copy of 20Ten on ebay, but why do I have to? Why wasn't it released in the States? As far as the Gemini reference, I'll use the phrase -'there is always a method to their madness'- It is just the way I feel about it.. I have been a fan a long time ...like many... and I am just a little annoyed that in order to obtain the new music I must import it. [Edited 10/22/10 9:05am] I Rock, Therefore I Am. Look Guy...you are the one who went out of your way to 'highlight' my country, in such a way that it's obvious you have an issue. But what ever your problem is -it is yours, maybe you should deal with it or get over it. Hence the therapy...don't try to dish it-if you can't take it. I Rock, Therefore I Am. There are a lot of us who have been fans for a long time, and a lot of countries who have had to import his music in the past and wait long periods for a tour, the USA is not alone, hard as that is for some American citizens to comprehend. It is not "neglect" and it is certainly not "serious neglect," it's just the way it is. Yes it can be annoying or for a better word frustrating to have to travel large distances for gigs (more so for certain American citizens, i appreciate that) but to state that your country has been "seriously neglected" is a bit silly. However, i do hope that you get a chance to see him soon.
Peace be with you.
