Pr ince has announced some more tour dates for October and November.

The CONFIRMED dates are:

October 15: Helsinki , Finland
October 18: Bergen, Norway (possible for the 17th also) Completed
October 20: Copenhagen, Danmark Completed
October 22: Herning, Danmark Completed
October 26: Antwerp

November 2: Roma, Italy
November 3: Milano, Italy
November 14: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

Good news for fans in NYC who've been awaiting info on the "Welcome 2 America" shows - we've finally got some ticket news !

The dates that MoQuake revealed last week have now been 100% confirmed and tickets go on sale Saturday, October 30 at 10am. Tickets will be available at LiveNation.com. Tickets will also be available through Charge By Phone 800.745.3000, select Ticketmaster locations and respective box offices. Tickets will be starting at the bargain price of $20.10 plus applicable service charges.

In addition, Live Nation are running a contest to win travel and tickets on their Facebook page here (Open to US residents only I'm afraid " /> )

10/14/10 - Prince announced at a press conference in NY at the Apollo theatre, on October 14th that there will be a concert series in the U.S. The location has not been specificied, but stated it will start on a "purple day in December.

I don't go to the Dr's website. Pretty sure there are a lot of people who don't. So for us these kind of things, no matter how tidbittish they may be are actually news. Information, at least.

If Asia's soon to be in the mix, then maybe the (tiny) whisper I heard a couple of weeks ago about a visit to Australia is actually true

I do feel for the American orgers atm, but to me this is all VERY exciting news! Some of these countries have no doubt gotten used to being overlooked time and time again and how wonderful that it's time for them to be celebrating

Seems like he's doing an "Around the World" tour. Cool. I remember in one of Dr. Funkenberry's past posts, he mentioned Tanzania possibly being included. We shall see.

Given that the name of this site is Prince.org I think it is rather nice that we occasionally talk about what Prince is currently up to. GD threads are more fun, but a few words about P here and there is the polite thing to do.

True. I generally frequent Prince, Other and GD with equal measure. If something interests me, I comment. I'm don't really understand the commentary regarding what gets posted/discussed. But it's a public board so if that's what makes some people happy... No big.

Interesting.. one can only wonder if he'll ever tour in the US again. It seems like lately he's had nothing nice to say about America, and why did he give America the big stiff middle finger in regards to the 20ten album? Hmmmmmmm........

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out. The "hater's" on the prince.org. Personally I don't blame Prince and will be glad when this site gets it's "pink" slip.
