Well if Prince is ever in some way related to this "release" then thanks. If he isn't then his folks need to take notice that some re-released old boot is getting more praise than his last radio release.

Oh, and Witness is now excellent in this quality. Let's hope for more.

All i know is it's preceded by "Wendy wants to live forever". Don't know why that line is muffled on this release though. It's strange.

This is an excellent bootleg, although there's nothing really new on it.

"Witness 4 the Prosecution" is worth the price of admission alone, IMO. What a cool song.

Yup, nothing new but a very nice upgrade.
Still some analog tape defects and imperfections can be heard, aside from the treble, but there's so much more detail....!

@Desire2006, If you think this is just another 'run-of-the-mill' release then no one is forcing you to listen to, or more importantly, pay for it. Feel free to stick with the significantly worse audio quality versions already out there. Meanwhile everyone else should feel free to listen to some of P's best unreleased tracks in never before heard quality.

These outtakes could of remained circulating between a small group of traders, and possibly been sold to Sabotage or Eye records, but instead FBG are bringing them to the wider fan community for free. After all, the only person who should profit financially from Prince's music is Prince.

Let's face it, P is never going to release Wonderful Ass himself, and in these dark days of Purple & Gold and Cause & Effect, it's good to be reminded of P's genius with these fresh sounding songs from the past.

On the back of my copy is written, in the upper right corner:

"Sarotti Sound-products 888", I guess that's a studio in Europe...?

All I know is, it was the beginning of a lifetime of "chasing the dragon" for this bootleg collector.

I don't think Starfish and Dorothy are different, but they aren't LP or CD sourced, everything is from tapes.
