Does Prince have any Hardcore fans under the age of 30? I was just curious because you do not hear of many young people claiming that they are bona fide purple heads!I'm 20 years old and I absolutely adore Prince's music . I was listening to my mp3 player today and actually skipped through alot of the other songs I have on it to listen to His Purple Badness. So my question to my fellow orgers is do you have any younger brothers/sisters, teenage sons/daughters,or any young person you know who thinks Prince's music is the Shiznit?  | |

I'm 28 and I've been a hardcore fan since I was 3. I've seen him in concert 14 times between 1997-2007. I own all the official stuff,plus tons of bootleg dvds & cds,a trunk with Prince books,magazines, posters,& other various memoriablila. Super hardcore fan! |

It would be interesting to know what album(s) hooked you. As I am in my mid 30s (i.e. "old"), I "grew up" with him and I have no perspective on how a new fan gets drawn in. I mean, I bought 1999 not knowing there was a Purple Rain or SOTT still to come... and you all have the man's 30 year catalog at your fingertips...
