really, when you think of prince's massive catalogue and how each performance he gives limits him to twenty songs or so... why, it's a crying shame that so much stage time has already been devoted to those two mediocre songs as it is. i would LOVE it if he'd play for example, The Human Body, or Get Wild, or almnost anything else.

BUT he has been playing them faithfully since 1997 for reasons unknown.
betcha he slides them in at this performance too.

I have to admit to feeling rather nervous for him. With one of his own concerts it's filled with fans that have paid to see Prince - with a festival, it's full of people that have paid to see a few different artists.

I wonder how the crowd will react

The reason he commands 4 mil. (if that's real) is that there are only a few artists, new album or not, capable of drawing a large audience, and that are proven to show up, no bullshit no violence and deliver a great performance.
