U no U R Old School when:

* U remember 1880 & 81 when WHPL Channel 17 in Philadelphia (The Great entertainer) used a loop of Dirty mind as the bumper & Station ID music during the afternoon kids cartoon run. (Who knew Wee Willy Weber was a fan wink )

* U remember the Tuesday evening when MTV premiered "When Doves Cry"

* U remember watching parts of Purple Rain scrambled on PPV because your were a couple years 2 young 2 see it in the theaters w/o Mom & Dad (Thinking 'why is Lisa naked from the back playing Purple Rain on the piano while Prince watches her?...yes it was THAT scrambled)

* U stayed up both Friday & Saturday night to record The ABC 3 Chains of Gold mini movie & The Ryde Divine Concert special

* U were on Eileen Murton's mailing list

* U called the 1-900 "Prince hotline" more than once for the latest news

* U know the name T. Vale eek (shhh don't tell Londell)

* U brought a modem to experience "The Dawn" on AOL...& 3 years later upgraded for feb 14 1996 lol

* U actually worked for Prince/prince/Paisley Park at some point in your life (ahem... & no questions on that on please.... that was bediscream at aol 's job to answer innocent nana )

That is all ....4 now

I saw it seven times in the theater also. I ended up having to see it for the first time at an afternoon matinee because it was sold out every single night for about a week.

You try to find that 12" of Deborah Allen's Telepathy you are certain you bought in '87

You have every album from For You - Lovesexy in LP AND CD.

Your SOTT is in 2 jewel boxes.

Your ATWIAD CD is NOT in a jewel box

You have 2 CDs of 1999 (1 with DMSR, 1 w/o), 2 Batman (1 batcan, 1 reg),

a gold foiled Symbol CD package.

You have around 10 Musicology giveaways CDs but never bought the regular release

"downloaded" 3121 probably do the same for PE.
