Oh and my friends were talking about Justin Timberlake makin fun of Prince and suprisingly they thought it was stupid and they questioned Justin's point in being at the Golden Globes...

It'so good when greatness is rewarded. Prince is the man! As for Justin Timberlake, he wish he had at least half the talent that Prince has. Maybe that was just his dumb way of paying props to Prince. Whatever, he's forgettable, Prince is unforgettable. Again, Congratulations Prince and now, on to the Oscars.

I think that some of our org'ers need to get a grip and lighten up. For those that haven't realised it yet, Prince actually has a sense of humour. I think that it is fair to assume that Prince is mature enough to see the funny side and have a laugh about what happened. JT did well in a tricky situation.

Congratulations Prince, well done sir.

Congratulations to Prince for winning this ward! It just goes to show that many people still respect your music.

To all those up in arms about JT's acceptance of the award for Prince: Until you stand in front of an audience with lots of big names in the business in attendance, waiting on someone to show up whom you thought was there, and as evident felt awkward standing there waiting, you don't know how you would have reacted or what you would have done to break the awkwardness. From JT's expression, he was not intending to be mean or diss Prince in anyway but reacted naturally to a situation he felt uncomfortable in.

Also, the only one that truly matters as to their reaction of JT's acceptance, is Prince. If Prince felt dissed in any way, or felt the "joke" was inappropriate, I'm sure we would have heard about it by now. Prince is very good about getting his feelings across, and I've seen instances on Prince's past websites in which he disclosed his feelings about what an actor or fellow musician has done or said, and I'm sure he's seen the acceptance of his award and would have made known on his website any adverse feelings about the acceptance. I've not seen that as yet, so can only assume that perhaps Prince doesn't feel awkward about JTs acceptance.

Please do not stone me. But I still have not heard this song in its entirty.

Just curious, did anyone think last night that Prince's clothes sort of had an Indian influence? The first look I got at Prince last night was when they asked him to stand up and I took a look at the entire outfit,and his hair and India just popped into my mind. I thought he looked stunning last night.

When the Golden Globes started it was 5 p.m. PST and a lot of people were on there way home from work. Traffic jams do happen on Mondays in L.A., which is why Prince was late. If the Globes aired on Sunday, like the previous years, Prince would have more than likely (giving him the benefit of the doubt here) been in the room when the first award was announced.

Justin's joke of stooping down was justified. Prince Rogers Nelson IS 5'1" and 5'4" when he puts on his three inch heels. I laughed at Justin's joke because the Globes are about people joking around, having a good time.... It's Hollywood's Party.

Next stop, The Oscars and hopefully Prince will be nominated and ON TIME. Hopefully, the 5208 members of the Academy will vote for him so we can hear his acceptance speech and compare it to the one when Wendy and Lisa draped his sides in the year 1985.

I don't think Prince is losing sleep over being late to the awards...stuff happens, the point is, he stood up and bowed and showed appreciation when Hugh Grant asked him to stand up and bow. None of us is going to get a personal explanation from Prince as to why he was late...so I'll just keep it positive and say again...Congratulations to Prince for his Golden Globe award...I didn't like what JT did either, but after seeing that he was allowed into Prince's private party to see him perform, I'm sure JT knows now who the "real" sexy is and probably sorry for his poor taste in joking....ok...carry on!!
