Just a question: how much time Prince will have to perform? (I am asking this because I dont live in USA, and never watched Superbowl - I dont have cable yet...hehe). Most Superbowl performances are live or several performers used to lip-synch?

How many times have we seen him take an opportunity and mess it up with something that did not connect with the masses. It's encouraging that he's done a funny spot with the NFL. HOpefully he continues to cooperate. Showing the guitar off in the commercial has me feeling real good. I would not mind if he did 'Fury' again. Whatever he does, he better blast on the guitar! That's why is expected...oooopss...I hope he doesn't read this.

IMO. the ideal thing for Prince to do, is realse a new album in Feb. or Early March. Just bang, bang and bang it again. lol. He's doing the super bowl peformance which will be likely the large audeince he's ever peformed to in his career. A week after that are the Grammy's in which he should peform again, hopefully walk away with a grammy nod as well. If univerasl wants to shell out the big bucks, he could get R&B alubm of the year. Relase a new album and follow that up with a summer tour. As far as being a big time mainstream artist. This is his best shot in his whole career.

I like it (he looks flawless and on fire)EXCEPT for the very end, when the "superbowl" letters light up on either side of him as he is standing, about to go out and perform. I don't know, it just seems a little weird to have straight forward SPORTS parallel him like that. If the walls on either side of him would have stayed in the shadows, I don't think it would have bothered me. Wow. P is on mission with the masses.
