i tivo'd cbs today while i went out and i was about to fast forward thru it all to find the prince commercial. thank god, it is here waiting for me. and i think this is one of the coolest things prince has done in years, i actually thought there was a cool edge to it. i really hope he does gett off! thanks for posting! | |

I LOVE this commercial! I can't believe Prince would go for it, but it turned out great. I bet it's pretty close to what happens during real board meetings with Prince.

We oughta have a Superbowl pool guessing which songs P will do. I agree that whatever he does he will have to smoke the geetar (and hopefully smoke it so hard that it'll send Jack White back to the minor leagues).
Personally I wouldn't wanna hear the super oldies (Kiss Purple Rain Let's Go Crazy etc.) done in their entirity but a whirlwind medley might be kewl. If he can still do the splits, this would be the time to whip 'em out, no? Does anyone besides me think that the live version of Controversey from the Musicology tour veritably walked on water? I was so bummed when he took down the NPG site. I was gonna sacrifice my downloading cherry to grabbbing that one but I snoozed and losed. Still a download virgin.  | |
