In view of all the attention Prince gets on; Should he still do this or should he do that, and the comparisons between P's body, make-up, style and his age.....How old is the the average P fan base? I think it's relevent to the criticism he seems to be getting.

I think the kids are most vocal but they might not be the average age of true P fans. Chronological age doesn't determine or equate to understadning true funkiness. That might come with age and understanding of Funk. :Funk:

you don't see many youngsters at the shows though, i guess they are all at the Chris Brown or Ne-Yo concerts....so i would say 25-50??

MMM, if everyone post thier age you can do the math and figure it out. I am 22

Well I would guess that the majority of fans came out of the Purple Rain era, so maybe mid-30's and up?

It's hard to tell, because Prince's audience is so diverse.

I suspect the old-schoolers' kids are gonna skew these numbers. My 5 year old is a huge fan now. I, however, am 35.

So to add to the question, are we talking 1st generation fans, or the whole population?

HELLO! I don't want opinion, I want statistics. Don't bother guessing based on who stands in line at a P concert or what age you THINK a Prince fan is. Give your age, I'll calculate it and get back to you. Hell, assuming P is a fan of himself, I'll throw him in the group. Right now with those clearly stating their age, the average is 32.6. With P it's up to 33.9.
