I think the info is at least 90% true.

ESPN in FLorida stated this as being a done deal, but I don't know how other media outlets are reporting this. As I mentioned before, the guys on the station were not too happy about it, but they brought his name up when talking about the upcoming football season.

It will make the rounds on ESPN shows like Cold Pizza or PTI fairly soon. Give it some time.

Dallas Cowboys report 2 Training camp in Oxnard, Ca in 2 days. U know I will be there.

I dont know much about Super Bowl (I dont have cable TV here in Rio) but those performances are usually live or lip-synch? The only one I saw (Jacko) was lip-synch...

Well, I got a call from a friend in the NFL (u guys know I am a big Dallas Cowboys fan and will be going to Training Camp this week) and he usually calls when he is in town or heading here.

He told me at this time that Prince is going to do the half time show. He said at this time because you never know with him. He told me they ask him every year, but this year he was listening to their offer and he seems to have agreed.

We were both worried about how early this story is breaking although an NFL Kickoff press conference (which just announces who is performing the night of the 1st game and is supposed to be happening very shortly and is scheduled to take place in Los Angeles.

U guys know I would never decieve u or give u false information so it I am putting it straight like this; It is confirmed he is scheduled to be the halftime show of Super Bowl XLI in Miami, Fl in Feb. 2007...at this time. I really truly believe and I am sure they hoped this would be kept silent til the NFL announced it first.

U2's superbowl halftime performance is the only one I have ever seen that I think was worthy of the performer. Its all the other crap the producers throw into the halftime shows that usually ruin it. You know, the little kids running to the stage after releasing a covey of doves, the flag girls, the dancers, all of that suff.

If it happens, we are all going to hate on it the day after the game, so I'm not getting excited now.
