I've spend 5 days with Unique in 2007 during the 21 nites in London and yes he has a life and he's passionate about music, especially Prince. He's a huge fan ...so back off.

Do you actually have a life outside of Prince concerts? i.e. work, family, day to day things Listen u, Unique is an ex of mine and still a close mate and has been staying with my for a few days. Trust me he has a life an important one too, like we all do. The real question is why are u so concerned about what some else is or isnt doing? Why are u trying to dig into someones personal life on here? Worry about your own life. Cha! FUNKNROLL! "February 2014, wow". 'dre.

Unique sounds OK to me. Screw the haters - I wish I was he, and I bet plenty of others on here do as well.

Might be wrong as there was no but the way I read egansmind post was jokey. I said something similar myself to unique. I just wish I had the ability to be as hardcore. Just jealous but in a nice way. Shows me the difference between "long term loyal" (me) and "hardcore *unique". Good luck to him! [Edited 2/18/14 11:24am] 'I loved him then, I love him now and will love him eternally. He's with our son now.' Mayte 21st April 2016 = the saddest quote I have ever read! RIP Prince and thanks for everything.

Hey, i dont hate him. I find him amusing with his contradictions, and he always tells us he was at gigs but when asked about setlists it's a coincident that he never posts it untill it is posted on Princevault. Like i say it's coincidence of course.

If I leave now, do you think I might be in with a chance of getting in? I'm not that far away - Hackney. Could be there in the hour.

There is no hate from me to Unique. That would be silly. My point is most people do not have time to queue for gigs all day. If I told the wife and kids I was off to London for the night to queue for 14 hours in the rain to see a concert where I wasnt sure I was going to get in and then stay at a London hotel costing £100+ she would look at me stupid.

Some people do not have the similar life to you. Projecting and questioning another cause you can't do something another can is shameful. We all have different life styles. Old blue eyes quote: I said that's life (that's life), and as funny as it may seem Some people get their kicks stompin' on a dream But I don't let it, let it get me down 'cause this fine old world, it keeps spinnin' around

Ronnie Scott's review I started yesterday in Geneva (been skiing for the weekend). Plane departed 9am and by 12:30 I was in the queue at Ronnie Scott's # 198. Ever since this Hit n Run tour was announced and Ronnie Scott's being a rumoured venue - this was the one I wanted to see. I saw the second Electric Ballroom show after queuing for 4hrs and the Shepherd Bush Empire for 7hrs. I was with a great group that made the 11hr wait bearable. Thanks to the Prince fan that organised the writing of the numbers, it helped the queue police itself. Really disappointed at the fans who rolled up - got a number - and went back to work for 6 hrs only to then expect to be let back in the queue. I'm all for people taking toilet/coffee and food breaks but that was too much. Stephen Fry rolled up at about 11:15 and bizarrely tried to enter the queue behind us and squeeze his way thru! He was pushed out of queue only to call everyone "idiots". He caused chaos, the queue surged forward with the awaiting paparazzi lapping it up. Why on earth did he not just go in thru the front door like all the other celebs is beyond me? Anyway I managed to get in by the skin of my teeth and the band had already started and were playing Stratus. At first I didn't think Prince was on stage. Then saw that he was sitting at the keyboard to the right of stage. I think the only time people realised he was there was when he first started singing!! I got myself in a great position up against the rail just above the dance floor (which had been cleared of the usual tables and chairs). I thought the sound was great and the sax player (Marcus I think) was awesome. I loved the whole vibe of the show and the reworking of the songs to keep them true to the type of music usually played at Ronnie Scott's. Personal highlight for me had to be 'Something in the Water' - absolutely AMAZING. When the full band kicked in, it gave me goosebumps. In fact I have them again now typing this. Can't remember the set list but the one I've seen in Princevault.com is missing a few songs. Purple Rain was definitely played and I'm sure there was a bit of The Undertaker whilst he played the bass!! Whilst this wasn't the best show I've seen in terms of setlist (for me the Shepherds Bush show takes that crown). The fact that I saw Prince in Ronnie Scott's along with 200 or so fans makes me feel privileged to have been there. It hasn't really sunk in yet. Overall an amazing night. Eagerly awaiting news of the next London gig.
