Lets face it, its been a bit of shambles so far

.

2 Hit & Run concerts with a small amount of fans

.

Hardly groundbreaking in my eyes

.

Its about time they stop messing around and do a proper tour

.

He done proper shows in the States so most fans in the UK are losing out

I can't help thinking that things can't be going according to plan. It's all seems a bit messy with long periods of silence and nothing happening. Perhaps the bad weather has scuppered some of their plans or they can't get the venues they were after?

U mean there was a plan? lol

I keep thinking there surely must be something pretty big on the cards, or plenty of shows. If not, this will have cost plenty of money for the old boy and I can't really see him doing this 'just' out of the goodness of his heart. A few chunky shows? Must be, surely.

His Hotel bill for the first 10 days will have cost more than the takings for the first couple o shows, by itself.

  • As exciting as it all is I must say that at this stage being glued to sites for updates is becoming a bit more monotonous as the days go on....zzz
  • We don't have to have daily updates but the fact that anything could happen anyday does mean that once we get into the afternoon, like it is now at 3pm, then the chances of an announcement and where grows less likely.
  • Also this weather means queuing all afternoon to gain entry is not much fun.
  • Who is to say that he is still in UK? Maybe it is done?

I think everyone should stop squabbling and get organized. 'Feb 14 - The Calm before the Storm' has to mean there's a gig Sat night. I'll listen to R1, Tintin take R2, English Gent R1Xtra, Dayzofwyld watch Newsround on CBBC!

I'd so love that to be true.

Dig if you will... Meanwhile, last Friday after RC's said no to the funk 'n' roll quartet, P and the girls turn up at LaHavas' gaff with purple suitcases, asking for a place to stay.

' Yo Lianne, we ran out o money y'all. Do a brutha and these fine sisters a sweet favour and extend the luxury of your cribb on me. I know it's tight, but I bet you can fit me in, you know what i'm sayin? Wait up, Hannah says she'll share with you, as long as Jeezus aint watchin, but make sure you put a pillow up her ass, she like that!

In the background you could see Ida posturing and shivvvering in leather knee highs, holding a funky mask over her pig tails in the pissing London filth, whilst Donna trims her undercut with a blunt bic razor, to get rock chick/pseudo lezzer hair definition. Ooowaa.

Completely agree. Since 1986 for me. I haven't seen any of the three shows yet because didn't like the late notice/queue up and if you're lucky get in but seems that was the format so decided a couple of days ago that I would go, no matter what. So I've been waiting but I've nearly had enough now. They give a little then they take it away. It's just not funny.

Looks like a lot of us are in the same position with this. It was only by fluke I was able to drop everything last Wednesday, otherwise I'd be really hacked off by now. I'm sure another decent show will put that to bed, but it's starting to look like they either like taking the piss outta people, or they're just a bit incompetent, either way it looks a bit like a bunch of cock.

Llanishenlad, my thruppenies are always available. $70 a peak, oh OK, as it's you $10 a sneaky peak.

Being 200 miles away with shit weather, disrupted travel options, no confirmed dates and only possibly bring able to go on a Friday or Saturday isn't much fun either. And even then I have to get the bod from the other half, and that's not straight forward when you make plans with the family for the weekend.

Just announce a few dates. Sell pre tickets and give us a chance at least.

Well Q&A normally means questions and answers, that seems unlikely so who knows. Tiresome. If this were happening more consistently then momentum would keep me from flagging. At this stage I hope the weekend does not get wasted as I hope for updates,

Whatever style of gig, wherever it may be, the next one has to be ticketed - say a morning release like KoKo back in 2007. They cannot have people queuing in these conditions.

I agree, but as much as I'd like to think otherwise, I don't think Prince gives much of a sh*t what conditions we queue in or even if we queue at all. His connection with an audience starts when he walks on stage and ends when he strums his last chord....outside of that, you're on your own! smile

Let's make a rule: People that already went to one of the Hit'n'Run gigs don't get to complain about the nature of announcements of future gigs. Or about missing a gig. People that haven't had the chance can complain all they like.

You already get to complain about: Queuing in the rain; he didn't play my favourite song; would prefer the NPG; my hot chocolate was a bit cold when it got to me; I broke my ankle in the chaos; People don't know how to queue.

I wish I were in your shoes.
