PRINCE ACOUSTIC While he's here in London doing the hit & run thing I would love to see a solo acoustic gig.... Would be a dream come true for me. Springsteen has done a couple of full accoustic tours. Would LOVE to see Prince doing the same.

This is somethign I've wanted to see ever since the first days of MTV Unplugged.
Just Prince, an acoustic guitar and a grand piano.

I remember reading a quote from Beck about 10 years ago, when asked about being influenced by Prince, saying that he really wanted to see Prince streched and challenged and he though that if anyone could get Prince to perform alone with only an out-of-tune piano, we'd see his full genius shine through.
This thought comes back to me every now and then. How amazing would it be to see Prince adapt and create music in a challenging environment.. to see the creativity in progress. . |

He did an acoustic section at the ONA gig in hammersmith if I recall correctly...some guy shouted out "I love you" during t and he stopped and said "that voice was a little deep for me" P-p-e-n-g-u-i-n......the P is silent | |
