you can park on the single yellow behind the venue
Are you going to all 3?

No, just go home to Cambridge. I made the mistake of taking the train. Worried about parking. As it happened, I could have parked right behind the venue and stayed later.

.

I even found a hidden spot in the venue were I could have stayed (it was funny watching loads of people hinding in toilets and cupboards).

.

When a security guard said it was going to be 2 shows (at about 5.30), I thought about dropping back in the queue for that, thinking it might be the better set. But the first was great. Fairly standard, but a solid performance. No one was short changed.

9.22. He's back on his own sound checking. Prince just did a moonwalk

In heels? impossible! lol

He had platforms on. But his moonwalk was pretty lame. He had a big grin on his face.

I'm a student in Manchester and live within 10 minutes of pretty much every likely venue. Needless to say, I cant believe my luck!! lol I headed down to London on the Monday following Shepherd's Bush on the off chance he would announce something whilst I was there, but it turned out to be a rather large waste of my time and money neutral

I got two sides... and they're both friends.

I'm hopefully for the Friday. I'm going to take my wife and kids for an overnight half term treat. Just happens to be two thirds of the way from home to gig.

I'm such a good husband.

I get to manchester 09.30 Friday. I know some of you have posted possible venues, but, in all these pages, I can't remember where? Please help?
Dandan you tried and were unlucky, let's hope manchester does it.....

I am. As a Leeds fan it pains me to have to go there. Again. wink

The Boss and Elton played the new arena in Leeds. Prince sure would kick the shit out of them!

Plus Leeds is slap bang in the middle of the UK!

But Manchester it is!

Having said that, The Apollo was great! pity it's not available this time.

Possible venues are The Albert Hall, Manchester Academy, The Deaf Institute (I wish), Gorilla, Ritz. All of these venues are off similar size to what he's been doing in London, although if he wants to go really small, ala Ronnie Scott's, then The Soup Kitchen or Victoria Warehouse are suitable.

I love the way he teases the sampler hits and threatens a bit of Mr Goodnight. Because of course, its a classic. lol I think, just one night, he should play it in full as the last song. Well, Maybe squeeze Wedding Feast in just to finish us off.

Yey! I'm allowed to post comments now...after following this board for quite sometime! The Prince in UK craze has been awesome so far and really enjoying reading about it from all you crazy knowledgeable fans here! NOW I look forward to contributing and hopefully making one of these "Manchester shows"
