WTF happened there then? So all I could do all day was watch twitter. Some plum said 'Late Show at the Roundhouse' so nearly started driving for that, but the storm came back so didn't bother. Glad now.

Yeah I was one of those queuing outside EB from about 5pm.......should I complain, no.....nobody promised there would be a show and at 8 we moved to the pub and tbh I ended up having a good night anyway with people I never met until yesterday. I do feel empathy for the chap from Scotland who came all the way down and the girl from Poland who flew over but again nothing was promised.

Now - do I think that the announcement was misleading - yeah probably. And tbh I am disappointed that she didnt send something even at 9/10pm to save us all hanging around the streets.

I actually think it is fairly arrogant and downright rude to engage the fanbase with twitter (a channel that allows direct interaction) but to not then return and let people know what is happening. I would hope this is cock up rather than conspiracy (ie poorly thought through rather then deliberately trying to hype/wind people up)

Glad this site is running again. Kirans tweet did get my hope up and I get checking twitter every 20 mins or so but I find it tedious (probably because I'm new to it and dont understand it properly!). But yes, a follow up tweet would telling us its a no go would have been good.. As someone said earlier the P man probably isnt the easiest person to work for

now for some positivity as this site is up, lets hope for a gig tonight or this weekend !!

No, havent reached that level... yet!

Got to say, that crossed a line yesterday.

I can get that these are short notice gigs, and that some people won't be able to make them. (Easier for me to say, as I was fortunate enough to be in London for a meeting on the 5th so made it to the second EB show that night.)

But if by their nature people are keeping an ear to the ground for clues that there is a show on a particular night, you can't then tweet suggestively that there is, knowing full well that people will likely travel up to London, and then nothng happen.

That's just taking the piss IMO.

I'm hoping to make it up for one more show with a couple of friends, but its a three hour trip - so if we do try to make it, we'll likely be doing so depending on the strength of rumours / announcements on the day. If it now turns out that even Tweets like this are red herrings and have to be taken with a pinch of salt, then its making an already iffy proposal and making it even more difficult.
