My goodness. This is my first post ever on this board....I've been waiting to post at this show was my 1st PRINCE show ever.

Yes. Prince has been on my bucketlist. I've slept on seeing him before, and I'm glad I finally got this opportunity.

I can't help but notice some of the comments in this thread. I am a HUGE U2 fan. You can go to youtube and put u2brothr in the search engine to know what I'm talking about. I'm massive when it comes to U2....and I've seen them 31 times myself. Comparing U2 to Prince is downright silly. However, I do know Bono has made very positive comments about Prince upon meeting him at an award show once. I believe he said that Prince is the modern day "Duke Ellington". I won't bother to engage the trolls on this site to compare apples and oranges. If you love music, you love music. PERIOD.

I should add that I am also a musician as well.

Regardless, I went to this show with my wife and my friends and I was impressed by Prince's vibe, the atmosphere, the stage set up, the muscianship, EVERYTHING! It was an incredible show. I am jealous of those that went on the Friday night. Those folks can play. Those women can SING! The drummer is a futhermucker. Wow. Everything so tite.

Speaking of Friday night, I have friends who I play with in a band who went to the show. They are more "rock" fans, but decided to see Prince because he was also on their bucketlist. I had a ticket for the Friday nite, but didn't go. I knew I was going Saturday.

The text I received says it all. "We have no business picking up our instruments after what I've witnessed at this show."

I loved every moment of it. I loved how the entire crowd was dancing. I loved how it was such a party atmosphere.

I spilled my drink when he said, "YOU BETTER CALL THE BABYSITTER, I GOTS TOO MANY HITS".

And truth be told.....despite missing Maceo Parker, Prince in now on my top guitar players of all time.

So yes. I popped my cherry under the moon at this concert.......and I was so impressed.

I WENT TO LONDON ONTARIO to see the show again.

I honestly could feel the talent ooze out of him from song to song.

I'm blessed to witness such a legend. Thank you my man.

I WISH I COULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO AFFORD A TAMBOURINE. I didn't realize they were made by Tama until afterwards.
