Oh man, if this is really happening I'm so envious of the people who will be going! I can only hope there's an aftershow on Feb. 7th!

I asked for a link, and we got the page showing the show that is going on at 9:00...

I wanted to know how the OP knows Prince will be going there after his concert...

Is it an assumption? Too many wild goose chases have been started by rumors.

the 9pm part is throwing me off unless there are a few openers and he shows up at the end but even then the time doesn't seen to add up

I can see that. He'll do the show, then show up at this place afterwards. Obviously he can't perform with Lettuce while he's at MSG so Lettuce will be doing their things there, while Prince does his thing at MSG and will probably go there after the show. Maybe they'll set up and perform again WITH Prince.. or maybe Prince will just show up and sit around like he did at Village Underground and watch THEM do a little jam session. I'm assuming that's what dude means.

I think it was the night before Musicology at MSG that Prince popped up for Maceo's show in Prospect Park (brooklyn) and jammed for a couple songs at the end.

Will he or wont he, thats the late Tuesday night question... of course there would still b travel arrangements 2 b made and more tix 2 b purchased. But it certainly seems like an aftershow or at least a couple funky purple jams may occur in Brooklyn 2morrow...

place is really nice good food and booze

It's a decent, mid-sized venue, similar to Roseland. It's much better than Terminal 5, but the fact that it's in Brooklyn makes it less than ideal. I bought tickets just in case it's an after-SHOW and will closely watch ?uestlove & drfunkenberry's twitter feeds to see if it's worth the trek.

Honestly, I'm through my jamband phase, so it'll be hard to stay lively (read: awake) for more than an hour of Lettuce, especially after dancing at the Prince show for a few hours. I'm hoping they wrap up around midnight and the stage clears for Prince. Considering Prince has no concept of time, I think we might be in for a LONG night.
