Frechheit, was ! Wir, die wir früh das Ticket gekauft haben, haben ohnehin schon den Ärger mit der Verlegung in eine andere Stadt incl. organisatorischer "Anpassungen". Super dass wir also noch zusätzlich benachteiligt werden . Vollidioten

Frechheit, was ! Wir, die wir früh das Ticket gekauft haben, haben ohnehin schon den Ärger mit der Verlegung in eine andere Stadt incl. organisatorischer "Anpassungen". Super dass wir also noch zusätzlich benachteiligt werden . Vollidioten

Nice article. Anyway I hope he will play Vienna 3 hours minimum, and I would really like if he adds some NPG tunes, especially the albums "Exodus" and "The Gold Experience". And "Come" on, Purple one, your fans really want a looong show plus aftershow!

The U4 is ok but kinda dated, and I´m sure he would appreciate the decent sound & light at the Flex with the subs into the ground and all that. The Flex caters to dance/electronic people now and lost some of its original underground appeal, but will be full with 500 ppl. In case Prince prefers a smaller joint where the all the funk musicians & crowd meet every week to jam, he could try the Ostklub at Schwarzenbergplatz (for a crowd of 200, Tuesday is funk session until 4 a.m.) or (really small, only 100 ppl) the Luftbad. But at Luftbad there´s no backstage. And both Ostklub and Luftbad don´t have the sound of the Flex..

is this concert definite then? why does that link have an old o2 pic and not the new artwork? sounds like a dublin to me.

Porgy & Bess is ok, right - he´d like the look of the club with balcony there. Backstage is ok, the sound is good. However, on 13.07. they have a jazz set with Jon Sass and W.Puschnig. They are kind of posh there with all those red chairs and tables, and I know Prince fans want to dance! Not to be amongst rich bobo people in suits, forgive the generalization.

The Flex got the best PA of all four. It won´t be packed until 1 or 2 a.m. if the weather is fine, and they just got a DJ set for that night, no live band ->The band should probably contact them first. Best thing about the Flex is the sound. Backstage its ok but nothing special, not a purple water-bed or anything.

Luftbad is very small and the sound is mediocre compared to Flex, but the guests rock and you will find the funky people amongst them, not the typical drunk teens. I just found out the Tuesday Jamsession has summer break at Ostklub, so he probably shouldn´t go there. In case he really wants to grace one of the clubs. After all, Vienna is the city of music!

ich werd wohl improvisieren, hängt weitgehend davon ab ob es eine Aftershow gibt...

ich kauf jedenfalls kein Zugticket vorab sondern werde wahrscheinlich mit meiner Linzer Truppe im Auto bis Linz heimfahren, zu Hause kurz schlafen und am nächsten Vormittag zurück nach Tirol. wenn die aftershow allerdings bis in die Morgenstunden dauert steig ich vielleicht auch direkt in den nächsten Zug, mal sehen

Hats schon gesehen, das Konzert vom Tag vorher ist verlegt worden auf später. Ich hoffe mal Wien bleibt jetzt fix nachdem es von Linz hergelegt wurde.

ich hab mir am 14. urlaub genommen, nochmal entkommt mir der kleine mf nicht !

wir sind übrigens ne truppe von 9 (!) 6 davon zum 1. mal auf nem prince-konzert (ich tu ja was für den nachschub

ich greif jetzt mal ganz tief in die "wishful thinking"-kiste

...maceo tourt auch gerade durch europa, er ist am 12.7. in rom und am 15.7. in graz

also der könnte doch am 13. kurz mal in der stadthalle vorbeischaun ? hä ?
