People nowadays would just give them the "what the fuck?"-look if anyone did that. So Prince plays a concert in the birthplace of the greatest criminal lunatic in history (100 million deaths at a rough estimate), who started a war that in fact resonates to this day in so many profound ways that most people wouldn't be aware of - including the internet, a product of cold war bomb research, in turn a product of WW2 - and we shouldn't even mention it on a message board? Now I'm going WTF! You can mention this in P&R, if you insist on doing it, but this is about one bloody concert! Whatever, I certainly won't engage in a discussion like this now.

But now that he is playing Geneva too less people from that region will come though. And how many people really travel to an uninteresting city like Linz (sorry Markus ) just for a concert? Especially with this economy? Only die-hard fans. I remember back in the day when I was travelling all over Europe for Prince concerts it was always the same small group of fans who travelled a far distance to see Prince. And I suppose there are fewer of these people left these days. So how many people from abroad might go there you think? I don't think more than maybe 1000 or 2000 the very most. But maybe I am wrong. I know some long time Prince fans from other places of Austria who don't even go there. It's damn expensive and it's on a Tuesday. Which will be another reason that not so many people from abroad will come IMO. I would not be surprised at all if he sells less than 10 000 tickets. To make a long story short: A lot of people will come to this concert, and I'm almost sure that he will fill this stadium to the max. Let's cross fingers that the weather is fine on all these outdoor gigs!

Oe3-radio is hyping it every hour, he has not been here for 17 years, and the ticket-price is high but normal for a superstar of his sort nowadays. So people spread the word of his coming. I did and we are already 8 from Neunkirchen The only thing I'm a bit worrying is the weather - hope the "raining-season" will be over in july

Help. Can I pay by bank transfer? Or only by credit card? "When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."

Just my opinion. I hope all the shows do go ahead and tickets do sell well because after whats happened in the last year I don't think Prince needs any more bad publicity. We shall see. But it would be so sad for the fans who have tickets like me and lose money because you never get the full ticket price back when a concert is cancelled (sometimes you don't get any money back for Prince concerts at all BTW, has happened to me more than once, but I am pretty sure it would not happen in this case) and some people lose even more money who have booked flights, hotels etc.. Hey guys, I am having problems ordering tickets because of my credit card. I am going to bank tomorrow to fix the problem, but in case it won´t work out for any reason, would anyone be willing to buy a ticket for me and zaza? Of course we´d send you the money right away. Must say: after attending an Indogo show (where Prince did perform). That is true said, if you mean attending a small club show. But not only to see him up close. Most of all to hear some good tunes!
