The end result of this uneven treatment is how the site is today, even without P&R. The people protecting and defending how people act here are key reasons that the site is what it is today. Your obsession with excusing virtual violence, whilst perversely admitting cyberbullying does exist with the illogical argument that is cannot be done by gifs and how you simply cannot stop is a clear indication of why something needs to be done here.

Some of these groups will be ones each individual is part of, and other groups they are not part of.

If we ALL choose to make this place nicer and better, then this will mean all groups of others would need to reflect on how we ALL collectively can make the place better. There is not one group that cannot make the place better. If you feel that this call means that you have to change the most on the basis of how P&R met its end, then you need to reflect on that. Afterall, some people are almost always nice and some are almost always the opposite.
