And if we all did this, there would be no need for moderation. The objective of an effective moderator is to encourage an environment where people would not mock others for fun.

However, as you can see even the threat of seeking improvements so people are not mocked or discouraged from trying to chase others away causes violent opposition (even if under the cover of pretending this is humour).

No, I just see that what happened to P&R is also happening to other places here. The only way to stop the rot is to make the place more inviting so people are not targeted or threatened and visitors are not discouraged from staying.

There should never be a thread were the threat of violence must be accepted lest you be seen as a wuss. Even if that threat is complete illogical nonsense because the threat is never meant to have any follow through.

In this very thread they think I'm attacking PennyPurple, when the clear facts, to anyone who can read, are that I defended myself against her false allegations which she continued doubling down on again and again until I proved she lied. To some of these guys, that was me harassing her.

The problem is that Ty never followed his OWN directions, which is why he is no longer here...a moderator is not a king or a god, and "rule" based on whims or dislikes or disagreements. Ty (or "Sarah Jane", as some of us referred to him- those familiar with the classic 1959 film "Imitation of Life" will understand why) was perfectly dreadful at these duties...though he's probably still posting under some of the fake accounts and personas he created

I am happy with all my posts here as they are all seeking to make the whole of the place nicer and better. Despite the false accusations, not one post of mine is seeking to blame anyone but the one person who made most of the posts in the last few months and then flooded them with pictures and articles against the rules of the site and forum, whilst wileding the threat of being banned if you disagreed with him. The enviromment this created has tainted the whole of the site and it needs to be addressed.

Where is the post where someone ganged up on or attacked someone "just because they said we should all try to be nicer to each other"? Can't find it.

Posting a GIF, from a fictional movie, showing one actor pretend to slap another actor, is absolutely NOT an "act of violence".

Posting this opinion in response to and in opposition to the one you posted is NOT an attack and if more than one person posts such opposing opinions it is not ganging up.

This is a discussion forum where people post their opinions on the topic(s) at hand, not a safe space where people go to avoid dissent, or a bubble where they only have their own opinions reflected back at them. Such places do exist online, you won't have any trouble finding them. Perhaps they will be more suitable to your dispostion?
