Breaking News!
Edleman was interviewed wearing an "unfriendly family" tshirt and it aired on the nightly news.
NFL may want to investigate that, too.
As Babynoz stated earlier don't take your frustration out on the board here the media is reporting that shit. We aren't. They are still doing it on the nightly news. If there is even a bit of truth to it the Patriots are still better than the Colts.
How was that statement taking it out on the board?
I'm making fun of the silly allegations. Hence my "NFL may want to investigate that, too" statement. |

I too want the Hawks to win. Younger West coast team against East coast "older" team. 99.9% of everything I say is strictly for my own entertainment |

The Tuck Rule.....talk about a gift.
Being a native New Yorker, I despise Boston and ALL their franchises, especially the Celtics and Red Sox.
18-1....just sayin'....
I get the rivalry with NY and Boston....it's been going on for years. It can be fun, but I don't take these things seriously enough to hate or cause harm to anyone. Unfortunately some people do.
You are a true NY'er with the 18-1! I live in the present...that was the past. Maybe if the Giants could make it into the playoffs again we could try to settle the score
Truth be told I love football. I love all of it. I don't know stats or who beat who in 1985....I just love the game and I love it even more when dream boat Brady is in the super bowl.
Ahh spoken like a true girl
Compared to the Cowpricks, Eagles & 49ers, the Cheatriots are low end on my hate totem pole. Besides, my boys are 4-1 in Super Bowls, 2-0 vs NE. AND the Giants kept NE from making history - that's as good as it gets.
Now if you really want to get me fired up, let's get down and talk Celtics/Knicks or Yankees/Red Sox.
Interesting comments by Mike Ditka, saying he wouldn't let his son play football. Ditka's a football lifer too.....wow. That tells you how brutal the game is, and the toll it takes on the body. I'm with Iron Mike - if I had a son, I'd feel the same way. [Edited 1/20/15 4:52am] |

My biggest issue with them is they only got a slap on the wrist for Spygate, compared to the Saints who got raked over the coals by Godell for bounty gate. Bellicheat should've been suspended for a year and fined IMO |

First put out there by a Colts reporter... Could be passed off as sour grapes... 42-7 had nothing to do with an under inflated ball..
Not sour grapes.....this story is getting bigger & bigger. I'm listening to Mike Francesca on WFAN right now - the NFL has determined 11 of the 12 balls were doctored. The league is trying to figure out the penalty - could be loss of draft picks or suspending Belicheat for the Super Bowl. |

How so?
If that were the case then why does the NFL have regulations about it in the first place?

Exactly, rules are rules. Sean Payton got suspended a whole year for Bounty-gate. Goodell swept Spygate under the rug - letting the Cheatriots off again would be a PR disaster. |

I've played football all of my life, in cold or heat.
At the end of the day, the QB has 2 throw the ball, the receiver has 2 catch it, and the others have a carry it in some fashion. I fail to see how this is an advantage. FOOLS multiply when WISE Men & Women are silent. |

The Panthers heated footballs during the Viking Game (on live television).
Aaron Rodgers publicly admitting to doctoring footballs.
The media portrays New England to be the Evil Empire.

It's only because Belicheck is a known and proven cheater. If he did not have a documented and proven history in cheating at other aspects of the game, this would be a non-story.

Yes, it has now become Belicheck's legacy. My lagging concern is, what didn't they catch??? What has he gotten away with??? Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind. |

Wasn't there something else after spygate? i can't recall but i think so. so this is technically the THIRD "cheating" allegation against Bellicheat? |

They did a scientific study on the news on throwing the ball under filled and with the correct fill. The ball thrown underweight was always caught. The correct air fill was not always caught. Basically, you can catch the ball much easier, with less effort.
But ethically speaking the NFL and the Cheatriots should be ashamed of themselves. 99.9% of everything I say is strictly for my own entertainment |

I agree with you. And really, I guess he deserves it. He did it to himself.
I just listened to the press conference and he pretty much put this on Brady. He said he has no idea about any of that stuff and that Tom would know more. Stay tuned....Brady comes on at 4pm today.

We can also make the argument that during the second half (when they were forced to use the "contingency balls") Brady threw 10 for 10.

I listened to it too and Belichick sold me that he didn't know anything about it. I hate that now the likely suspect is Tom Brady, because I've been such a big admirer of his career and the way he handles himself off the field.
I guess best case is that some equipment manager steps up and says he did this all on his own because he loves the Patriots so much. But even if he didi, that won't erase the stink that's probably going to fall on Brady and Belichick.
