Cowboys fan (Lions too, but Cowboys first) here. How were they robbed? What do you think about the face mask? Or the Delay of Game? Or the 10-Yard punt? No flag on Detroit for bumping the kicker on a different series? Dallas having a touchdown brought back on a holding penalty?

Lions weren't robbed. The Lions getting PI on an underthrown ball to a reciever who pulled on the facemask of the defender would have been a tragedy.

That is your fandom talking.

it was penalty..............hence the FLAG.

If the flag wasn't thrown I don't think it would have been an issue, nobody would have noticed or questioned it. But because it WAS thrown....well, then they examine every little second of it. Happens to every team shrug

Is the long reign of defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau drawing to an end in Pittsburgh?

Steelers coach Mike Tomlin declined to say on Tuesday if the 77-year-old play-caller would return in 2015.

"Again, I haven't talked to Dick," Tomlin told reporters. "I'm not going to get to all of that. For the many reasons I've already outlined."

Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette noted the contrast in Tomlin's response after the coach once laughed off the idea of LeBeau retiring in a previous postseason press conference.

Pittsburgh's typically top-five-level defense has struggled in recent years. The Steelers finished as the No. 18 unit this season after posting the 13th-ranked outfit in 2013.

Ron Cook of the Post-Gazette noted that LeBeau was "unusually testy" when asked by reporters last month if he wanted to return to the team he's served with since 2004.

"The only thing that we can talk about here is our football team and getting ready for a football game," LeBeau said before Pittsburgh's Week 14 bout with the Bengals. "I don't give it any thought. I haven't given it any thought in the past 10 years that we talked about it. It's something that's to be decided down the road. It's not the topic of any conversation right now. We're in a pennant fight."

We asked on the latest podcast if the entire Steelers coaching staff -- including Tomlin -- might be under review after Saturday's disappointing playoff loss to the Baltimore Ravens.

Tomlin appears safe, but the vibe around LeBeau is entirely different. We wouldn't be shocked to see Pittsburgh make a move here, even toward a shift in responsibilities that would keep the trusted lieutenant around as a consultant.

Green Bay is -6 and the Over Under is 53.

The only thing keeping me from putting money on Dallas is a Texas team playing in the cold weather. Dallas can take it to Green Bay, no doubt. They put down some good Eagles, Lions, Seahawks teams. The Pack is far from invincible. The Lions and Saints did 'em, whom the Cowboys have wins over.

And..........it was picked up. That ball was not catchable. The defensive player did not initiate contact. Picking up the flag was the right call to make.

Agreed....Cowboys are a different breed this year. They have looked SB ready. GB played the Vikings, Lions and Bears twice and then played the entire NFC South. That W-L record is inflated.

No doubt Romo needs to play way over his head, but when you take everything into account, the 'boys have a great chance. Rodgers is hurting and the GB Def is nowhere near what they just faced in the Lions Def. The only thing that worries me is the weather. The 'boys will need to be mentally strong to fight through it.

Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

The NFL has admitted it made a mistake in not calling a blatant hold committed against Suh on a critical 4th down play. They came clean because the Lions threatened to go public with the video, according to WFAN's Mike Francesca.

I'm pulling for the Ravens barf mainly because I don't respect that coward Blount who quit on the Steelers in November. This is definitely the all puke game for me. That said if the Ravens don't get pressure with their front seven Brady will torch their weak secondary. Flacco Put up pedestrian numbers against the Steelers and the Steelers left the middle of the field open all night. That won't happen against the Patriots Linebackers and Revis and Browner. The Steelers shut down the Ravens running game and I don't see Forsett having much success against the Patriots d-line either. Even if the Ravens hold the Patriots to 27 I don't see Ravens offense putting up more than 17.

Hopefully LeBeau will gracefully stepped down. He did what he could with a makeshift secondary and assorted injuries to Linebackers this year. That said there are still more questions than answers on defense. The offense was mainly responsible for getting this team to 11-5. We thank Harrison and Kiesel for lighting a fire under this defense but the youth movement needs to continue. Troy may need to gracefully step down too. sad

If they want to apologize for missed calls:

Simply put, the PI flag was the wrong call, and they did the right thing in picking it up. The Suh holding miss is just one of MANY missed flags that night. Cowboys-Haters weren't crying foul in the first half when the Lions were able to be up 17-7.

Steelers sign Dangerfield, Washington

Posted 3 hours ago

Two more players were added to the roster via futures contracts.

The Steelers signed two players to Reserve/Future contracts, safety Jordan Dangerfield and wide receiver L’Damian Washington, the team announced today.

Dangerfield re-joins the Steelers after spending a portion of the 2014 season on the team’s practice squad. The 5-11, 199-pound Towson product entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Buffalo Bills following the 2013 NFL Draft. He spent the 2014 training camp in Pittsburgh.

Washington entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Dallas Cowboys following the 2014 NFL Draft. He had stints on the practice squads of the New York Giants, Cleveland Browns and Miami Dolphins in 2014. The 6-4, 200-pound Missouri product totaled 100 receptions for 1,735 yards and 15 touchdowns in his collegiate career.
Well I'm all for getting a safety but the Steelers don't need anymore Wide receivers.

All sorts of calls will be missed in the course of a game, but the OBVIOUS one at the most crucial time?
