Dez took three steps, knee down, elbow down and was lunging for the goal line. If that isn't a football move, what is???? Odell beckham says he doesn't understand the rules.

The Cowboys lost. Get over it! They don't hand out awards covering the point
spread. Fuck the Cowboys. Reality. They haven't gone to a Super Bowl in 20 years
and counting. Karma bit them in the ass today by a one legged qb. If Rogers was healthy this game wouldn't have been as close.

bad calls happen, it is part of the game. I would say that was a catch as he had it under control when his knee hit... the only reason it moved was he reached for the TD but he was already down by contact. but that is how football do...

The league needs to address this bs. Cowboys just got their Super Bowl taken away. The pack didn't need to earn this one. Shit, at least the lions had a chance to win last weeks game in the end. Cowboys were screwed. Played a better game, on the road, and came up losers. Unbelievable

The Cowboys 1st td came because of a nonexistent PI call.

Being a Giants fan, not enough bad things can happen to the Cowpricks. I can't wait to hear their whiny fans on WFAN's Mike Francesca show tomorrow.

This is why I am such a bigger fan of college football than of the NFL.

How in the heck can a receiver take two steps with the ball AND stretch out for the end zone and have it called incomplete? How in the world can the ground NOT be able to cause a fumble, but CAN be able to cause an incomplete pass? (BTW, those are the EXACT words of Fox's NFL rules expert.)

Ridiculous, simply ridiculous. WTF is a "football move"?

Yes, but they call those all year long...tick tack fouls are expected.

A "football move" is lounging at the goal line. You cannot have three steps down, a knee, an elbow after contact with the defender and THEN have it called incomplete. That is ridiculous. The "incomplete" part was him going for the goal line.

To make it worse, there are instances where the football CAN hit the ground, as long as you show full control...like Dez had, FULL control.

NFL got it wrong, in this instance and the initial Calvin Johnson play.

Why can't Tony Romo use the phone anymore?

Because he cant find the receiver. biggrin

Tony Romo threw his phone down in frustration but it was intercepted and returned for a touchdown. lol

After the game, Tony Romo threw his helmet towards the sideline in disgust and that too was intercepted. biggrin

This game wasn't on Romo...he finally laid all of those jokes to rest. This one rests squarely on the shoulders of the refs.

Rough season for the NFL....Rice, Peterson, Goodell knowing what he knew when he knew it, and now the refs in the post season.

Andrew Luck beats the guy he replaced in Indy, Peyton Manning. Was today the last game we saw Peyton Manning play in the NFL? hmmm

Peyton Manning is one of the greatest quarterbacks who has ever played the game, but at times today he looked rather ordinary. He overthrew his receivers several times, and he wasn't helped very much by dropped passes either. But he will turn 40 in a couple of months, and while he still played at a high level this season, there's no guarantee he will play that way next year if he does come back.

Just look at Brett Favre. He played like he turned back time at age 39 and took the Minnesota Vikings to the NFC Championship and would have taken them to the Super Bowl had he not threw an interception in overtime in that game. But the following season he struggled mightily, and his career ended in an injury during a sack on the cold field of TCF Bank Stadium in a Monday Night Game against the Chicago Bears, the team he terrorized throughout his career.

Is this something Peyton Manning will consider during the offseason? Maybe not tonight, or tomorrow, or even this week, but come April and draft day, he may decide to call it a career.

What is your take on the Chancellor leap over the offensive and defensive line to block a field goal attempt?

That will need to be changed next year....no running starts.

Why couldn't Calvin Johnson be used in that situation...he has great leaping ability and a crazy wingspan.

that WAS pretty insane wasn't it. He did it twice and they couldn't do anything about it. he definitely altered those kicks. if you can cleanly clear those O linemen, i'd say let them GO FOR IT.

The best part is watching Jerry Jones having to eat it for another year. And we won't have to be subjected to him swapping spit with that fat fraud Chris Christie anymore - wtf is he rooting for Dallas for?

I can't wait to get on Facebook and give it to my friends and relatives who are Cowbitch fans. They only come out of the woodwork and talk smack when their team does well. And the tweets I'm seeing from Lions fans are hilarious.

The Cowboys won't get those same calls this week against the Packers, they can forget that!

I think the Colts have a shot at taking out The Broncos

I don't give Carolina a shot at winning in Seattle

That Ravens - Patriots matchup is the one I'm looking forward to most, the Ravens seem to have the Patriots number as of late, should be fun!
