Didn't see Psycho mentioned, unless I scrolled through it too fast.

DEFINITELY CHECK OUT this Korean movie called I Saw The Devil. And if you want some really, really fucked up shit, look up Antichrist. That is THE worst thing I've ever seen! OMG!

YOU DO NOT NEED TO SEE, however, Human Centipede. More gross than scary. Kinda like Antichrist mentioned above, but Antichrist is so much more disgusting that you have to watch it and it will fuck with your head after you've seen it. Eww... Paranormal Activity. The trailers are the coolest things about those movies. And all of that shit kinda goes back to Blair Witch Project, which was a fuckin badass movie when it came out, but now, just sad.

I think any Asian horror movie will be over-the-top scary. I don't know why, but I've found it to be true. Anything religious-theme or the killer(s) who just kills for the hell of it (i.e. The Strangers) are the most f'ed up concepts ever in the genre of horror. At least the infamous stashers (Michael, Freddy, Jason, even Chuckie) had a reason why they had to kill you. So, I always felt that if I didn't know Laurie, never lived on Elm Street, stayed away from Camp Crystal Lake, or never brought a My Buddy doll, then I had nothing to fear. biggrin

Oh God! My nieces and daughter had me sit through Human Centipede....that was the grossest shit ever. Never, ever, ever, ever recommend it to your worst enemy! SMH

Paranormal Activity, well I only seen PA2, had it's moment. Have you seen the trailer for PA4, yet? Too many door opening at least!!!!

The Blair Witch was a cool concept for its time. Now that the thrill is gone, it's average, so I agree with you on that one.

There is one movie that I despise and it's Devil's Rejects by Rob Zombie. It fits into the "killer(s) that kill for the hell of it" category. I can't tell you how many times I tried to hide that movie from my then boyfriend and his ass would always find it. Finally, I just "accidently" threw it away. lol

1. Alien

2. Aliens (makes no sense without the far superior original)

3. Texas Chainsaw Massacre

4. Halloween

5. The Thing (Part II if you want to)

6. Night Of The Living Dead

7. Dawn Of The Living Dead

8. Silence Of The Lambs

9. Nosferatu (A classic black and white silent vampire flick)

10. Nightmare On Elm St.

11. Freeks (Another old film. This one isn't silent though)

12. Friday The 13th Parts 1-3 (All of them)

13. Zombi 2 (There's no Zombi 1)

14. Audition (Simply creepy, and disturbing like no other movie. You might not want to watch this one)

Alien is definitely a really cool series. Love Sigourney Weaver and the Giger stuff. It's about as scary as Jaws though. And the whole Alien vs Predator thing... I always liked Predator better. But that movie isn't scary either. I don't think it was supposed to be (it was an action, right?)

I disagree about being as scary as Jaws. I think the first one was pretty scary. Expecially the chestburster scene.

Texas Chainsaw. Yea, that's pretty good. I forgot all about that. How was the remake?

Shitty

Amityville Horror?

Thing's fucking badass, like I said.

Great movie but nowhere near as good as the book

Silence of the Lambs, Hannibal series. A must have. But not scary. Psycological. But not scary. I have a Sir Anthony Hopkins tattoo.

yeahthat

Nosferatu, Dracula, classics. But it probably wouldn't scare someone nowadays. Well, I don't know, Nosferatu more than Dracula maybe. They had that one episode of Are You Afraid Of The Dark that kinda had a Nosferatu character, right?

Yeah I wasn't expecting him to be scared by them. But they definetly are classics

Freaks IS THE SHIT!

One of us, one of us, one of us.....

And Audition is totally scary because it's Japanese. Those people are sick! (It's ok, I'm half Japanese).

That movie scarred me lol

Right?!

The Strangers is an awesome movie but I think I bought it mostly because of Liv Tyler. God, she's beautiful! Isn't this movie based on the Manson murders or something?

Oh God! My nieces and daughter had me sit through Human Centipede....that was the grossest shit ever. Never, ever, ever, ever recommend it to your worst enemy!

Antichrist is A LOT worse!!! Trust me on that one... or see for yourself razz

The Human Centipede didn't bother me that much. Now Anti-Christ, that movie was crazy. When the wife smashed the husbands ?(don't want to be a spoiler) Damn ! Also when she cut her ?, disturbing. Another movie that's really messed up is A Serbian Film. At least Antichrist had a somewhat interesting plot but Serbian, in my opinion that movie is too sick. I just watched I Saw the Devil. Although it is graphically violent, it's a very good movie(in my opinion). If a person likes suspense/terror movies then i saw the devil is the one to see.

Rest in Peace Bettie Boo. See u soon.

There is no "The Thing Part II," only the shit remake of the original.

there's three "The Thing" movies. All called "The Thing". All are about alien life resulting in horror at a remote arctic base.

Yeah, the original (1950's?) version, the Carpenter remake in the 80's and the newer crap version.

Is that right?

So, true. It was a horrible movie. At least, UTCM (regardless of its flaws) has some watchable moments. I wouldn't own that movie if Prince "gifted" it to me himself. Sorry.

lol lol lol
