That being said, in Season 1's collage episode, there is a piece about the come up of Drag and in it you can see a headshot of Raja so Ru was definitely aware of him from jump.

I actually think season 3 had the best queens and season 1 was disappointing. Season 3's queens would not have made the same kind of rookie-ish mistakes some in season 1 made.

I can't think of any time that Raja's makeup wasn't flawless to me. I may not have liked her outfit but the makeup was always fierce

Uhh, giving Raja credit for his makeup is like applauding Naomi Campbell for a great runway walk after she entered an amateur modeling competition. Its his freaken profession and he's one of the best. Duh! LOL Another reason to be sour over his win. [Edited 4/29/11 11:31am]

Yeah, but I think some people's opinion is that Raja already HAD an "in" to the world of drag. The other girls did not. Hell, Yara was beamed down from Planet Rican.

I'm not disputing whether or not she had an "in". If you dig up very early discussions of this Season, I had mentioned somewhere that to me, going from lead makeup artist on a huge show like ANTM to contestant in a (by comparison) much smaller show, seemed strange, if not a bit of a step-down. It's not like it was a special edition "Celebrity Drag Race" or something.

I'm just saying that if there's no rules specifying otherwise then it's hard to make a case of it being unfair.

Really? You don't see how the audience could be turned off by ssuch stunts? Screw the rules, it justt makws the show less fun to watch. And remove ametuer from my above statement and it would still be unfair for Naomi to enter that damn contest. LOL

And, while I like an even/fair race as much as the next person, I can honestly say that this season was just as much fun for me to watch. I didn't dislike any of the final three (all were in my initial picks) so it wasn't ever a pressing issue for me.
