WTF? Stop. Manila is flawless and sickening. Look at everything she's done the entire season - none of it has been second rate material. Not one thing.
Agreed that Raja can be stiff sometimes, but when she wants to get into it she does. Raja did not do so well on the PSA, in my opinion, but he killed it on the RuShoppingNetwork or whatever.
So I am GUESSING that since Manila and Raja are just piss poor queens to you, that you are team Alexis? No, can't back Alexis either. I'm out of this contest after Yara(?) got the boot. And Manila just isn't on the same level as JuJu. I think its her praying mantis face. Kinda like how people can't get over Tamie Brown's forehead. Or again, like Raja, its could be the foul attitude that ruins the whole package. Space for sale...

News radio 1010 WINS in New York announces who has been eliminated from "American Idol" and "Dancing with the Stars" every week. I am so glad that "Drag Race" isn't mainstream enough for that! I'd have to be sequestered! "Love Hurts. Your lies, they cut me. Now your words don't mean a thing. I don't give a damn if you ever loved me..." -Cher, "Woman's World"

Manila has once again shown herself to be a catty bitch. I am so very glad her ass lost!!! Hope I didn't spoil it for anyone! She is such a sore loser, it's sickening.

If not Alexis, then I'll settle for Raja. I can't see how anyone could like Manila's ass..she only had two looks. Bee and Asian. How is that "fierce"? And her attitude completely sucked. And, no, Manila is not on JuJu's level...never will be. Yes, Raja is arrogant and slightly camp, but I like her wwwwaaaayyyy more than Manila. At the end of the day...team Alexis!!!!

Hey you...U still mad at me? Me? Never was. I was just surprised you assumed I was campaigning via my post here when all Ii ever do is spill my thoughts of the moment. Pure unfiltered diariah of the mouth...no motives. Read who the winner is somewhere else and Ru, again, for the third year, went with the non-crowd pleasure who lacked the type of welcoming personality she herself possesses. I'm starting to think she picks winners who are non threats to her own reign as "the queen" of drag. Space for sale...

Interesting outcome......................

That could be the case, and if so, that would make Ru the drag version of Tyra Banks (ANTM). I didn't have a problem with Tyra or BeBe winning, because they were both consistent as far as style went. Apparently, that opinion makes me part of the minority on here and on Drag's FB page. But, in Ru's defense, she did pick someone whose drag style didn't mirror her's. And I'm cool with that choice too.
sidenote: I never thought these type of competitions (ie RDR, ANTM, AI, etc) were about picking the next "Supastar!". I think that anyone who is picked to be a part of these shows has the potential to be that, because of the exposure that s/he gets.

Glad to hear. I know nothing of verbal diarrhea. Nothing.
Yeah, while I'm still cool with the top 3, and happy for the winner, I would've personally placed them backwards, with the first one to go last night as winner. Especially given her performance on the video (which was just for the sake of the challenge since that's from an old album and there's a new one coming out ) and her answers on stage during the last interview.

Agreed. I'd like to think that it was, but ultimately I think it's just about entertainment. I don't think most shows (maybe Idol did at one time) invest in the result and follow up so much as the lead-up, which is when all the ratings are taking place.

Trya has slowly been changing the show (since adding Leon as a judge) that scream of her desire to have a true supermodel emerge from her show. This year has been the most obvious with its quest with a 28 year old model who already has a major contract, getting rid of open casting and eliminating all the ethic girls by week six. Tyra is gonna find her someone to mmake her show legit or she is going to cut you! Sometimes I think Drag Race should be sponsored by Fabrics and More cause its more important to have a "fierce" dress than an engaging personality. And to reward that person season after season, well, it does start to make the whole run up to the season ending...-less entertaining. Space for sale...

I still watch ANTM There's a thread here somewhere (I haven't posted in a few weeks ). All my initial picks left already. Now I'm hoping for Kasia and Brittani or Molly. But I agree on her upping the game with Andre and Italian Vogue. Ann's (last season) Beauty Vogue shots were fierce. I can't imagine that a lanky giant like her who can also give face wouldn't work.
LMAO @ "she'll cut you"about Tyra...cuz she will.

I guess enough time has passed so we can mention it all now?
1) I'm angry. Alexis SLAYED the challenge and she is the only sincere one in the bunch. 2) Manila is a bad liar. If she gives a fuck about her dad, it wasn't last night. 3) Raja and the teach the school kids shit needs to stop. Raja was NEVER concerned about a damn kid until Michael Ruiz sucked Raja's dick off on Yara's last episode. I knew, I KNEW and I called it, that Raja would win since he had connections to the environment anyway. 4) Manila's daggers when she lost. 5) Alexis' composure and sweetness when she lost. 6) Raja looked so overwhelmed when winning that her teeth would fall out or she would be incontinent. She is so fucking skinny and drapes her clothes over her like she is an old woman. She does not know her body. 7) Raja's positive and negative? That she can finally say she is beautiful now? Well the negative is only implied there and it wasn't even implied. It was IMPLIED that she was overly critical I guess.

I loved Manila's comment about coming in second that she could take Raja's place should she die of old age. x a mf million!!!
Alexis should've won. She did best (and not just slightly) in everything last night. I was to not just see her go, but go first out of the bunch. [Edited 4/26/11 11:24am]

Sometimes I think Ru tries to be a humanitarian with this shit and that's why Manila and Raja knew to work that angle in their luncheon with Ru.
I'm not saying they should cry, but you could tell Alexis' tears were not crocodile tears. However, I don't particularly buy that Raja is helping kids or that it was a remote goal other than them being incidentally inspired by him winning. I also don't buy the dad thing w/ Manila. It seemed a little too incredulous.
That being said, I am not sure why Alexis got canned FIRST. She was, far and away, the best performed in the music video and in my opinion she was the most sincere. Ru must have known that Alexis would do fine one way or the other and that being a finalist was gift enough given she is a sureshot for getting licensing deals and whatnot outta this.
Raja's style is fine but what Ru said annoyed me. Is drag considered genderfuck? Really? I mean, is it female impersonation or is it genderfuck? Because while Raja would convince me as a transsexual, I don't think I would be convinced that Raja was a woman. He looks like Sutan in a dress or in African garb.
If Ru wanted genderfuck then why not choose the queen of all genderfuck in season 3???

. . . And now I feel like Santa skipped my house!
I almost fainted when Alexis was dismissed. Then I thought, "Alright, Manila has this... " I have made no secret of how I've felt about Raja. I just shut my TV off and walked out of the room. I would have made Raja lip synch this week... her video performance was weak, and I thought her runway wasn't anything special. I just KNEW that she was done, esp. with what Michele said about her makeup, and Santino's comment about her going blond. I AM NOT HAPPY.
** Did anyone notice that when Alexis was answering the judges, she referred to Raja as "he", but Manila as "she"?
