U do realize that Shaq beat Jordan after he had just sat out for 18 months right.......

Michael may not have faced teams wil 2 Hall of Famers in the Eastern Playoffs, but he definitely did during the Finals.
The 1st championship the Bulls went up against Magic, Worthy, and the Lakers.
The 2nd they went against Clyde Drexler, Terry Porter, and Danny Ainge.
The 3rd it was Barkely and KJ.
The 4th it was Gary Payton and Shawn Kemp who looked like a Hall of Famer at the time before he completely fell off the map after he was traded to Cleveland.
And for the 5th and 6th he went against Malone and Stockton.
So, he he faced great compettion. All these teams probably would have won a championship had it not been for Bulls.
It just so happens that with expansion, all the great players were spread across the country on different teams. JERKIN' EVERYTHING IN SIGHT!!!!!

Set-up complete: Now you do realize that if a young, inexperienced, raw player like Shaq beat MJ, regardless of how many months MJ was off, because he still had Pippen, then you have to realize that the dude that swept Shaq - the same Shaq that beat MJ - would've been a major dominant force if he got to face MJ in the finals. Porter/Ainge = Not in the HOF. KJ = Not in the HOF. Kemp = Not in the HOF. Payton will make the HOF.

When Hakeem won his 2 Jordan-less titles.................hom many HOF were on the other team?
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
Hakeem beat 2 top 5 centers (Shaq & Ewing) = MJ beat 1 top 5 SG (Drexler), the rest were decent-to-scrub = Byron Scott, Hersey Hawkins, Dan Majerle, and Jeff Hornacek . Oh, and MJ faced ZERO top 5 centers. Which also shows you just how weak the East was when MJ WASN'T in the Finals in the 90s = 0 NBA titles for the East. Again, some say the truth hurts and I say WRONG! You can call me "ROC" for short

U win as a TEAM.............and lose as a TEAM. Get it?

All the way through the playoffs? Plenty. They beat Magic, Barkley, D. Robinson and many other HOF'ers in those runs.
And you know that as far as I'm concerned, the only HOf'er Jordan ever had on any of his own teams was himself, so if the Rockets had beaten the Bulls, that's how I would spin it.
Finally, it's not Hakeem's fault that Jordan got kicked out of the NBA for two years. If Jordan hadn't been such a lowlife, we'd not be having this "what-if" conversation.

Been got it. Now get this: I'm showing you who MJ faced at SG, and it was pretty average-to-weak. Drexler was his only true competition. Facts don't lie. Some say the truth hurts and I say WRONG! You can call me "ROC" for short

What is Hakeem's excuse for the OTHER 12 years of Jordans's career?
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
Jordan ROASTED every single player in the NBA for years that were not wearing a Bulls uniform. U can't be serious with these silly comments.

Magic/Kareem/Worthy & Bird/McHale/Parrish, the same way MJ's excuse was Bird/McHale/Parrish & The Bad Boys. You can call me "ROC" for short

Did any of those teams win 6 titles in a row? Or even 3 in a row?
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
Exactly my point. MJ's athleticism was ahead of everyone for at least the first 8-10 years of his career. Go watch his first game against the knicks and you will laugh your MJ-jockin' ass off when you see how slow and unathletic all the perimeter players were back in 84 . MJ got to face 6'3 unathletic SGs for a large portion of his career. That's fact. It's not his fault, he couldn't control it, I'm just putting it in proper perspective for all you MJsexuals out there . You can call me "ROC" for short

No, those were the teams stopping Hakeem from winning his titles. Hakeem was going to the Finals before MJ even sniffed the 2nd round . MJ wasn't sniffin' jack shit in the playoffs until the Celts & Bad Boys got old. Fact. You can call me "ROC" for short

It's not like Hakeem didn't play on the same floor with another dominating center. The Rockets also didn't go to the Finals again for another 8 years.
Once the Lakers retooled, and the Blazers started getting better, they didn't really have another shot. JERKIN' EVERYTHING IN SIGHT!!!!!

So what? All I'm saying is that the Rockets of '93-'94 and '94-'95 would have given the Bulls a run for the money, and I think would have beaten them at least in one Finals and maybe both.

You tryin' to tell me that MJ got past Bird & Zeke? Some say the truth hurts and I say WRONG! You can call me "ROC" for short

Regardless, the FACT remains that Hakeem went to the finals before MJ had ANY playoff breakthrough of merit. Plus, Dream WAS the dominating center while Ralph was the PF. You can call me "ROC" for short

It's also a lot easier for a Center to dominate in the NBA. JERKIN' EVERYTHING IN SIGHT!!!!!

Agreed. For the most part, history tells us it's a big man's league. But again, it's a fact that Dream had earlier success than MJ, and that's all I'm doing here is droppin' that fact. You can call me "ROC" for short
