Michael may not have faced teams wil 2 Hall of Famers in the Eastern Playoffs, but he definitely did during the Finals.
The 1st championship the Bulls went up against Magic, Worthy, and the Lakers.
The 2nd they went against Clyde Drexler, Terry Porter, and Danny Ainge.
The 3rd it was Barkely and KJ.
The 4th it was Gary Payton and Shawn Kemp who looked like a Hall of Famer at the time before he completely fell off the map after he was traded to Cleveland.
And for the 5th and 6th he went against Malone and Stockton.
So, he he faced great compettion. All these teams probably would have won a championship had it not been for Bulls.
It just so happens that with expansion, all the great players were spread across the country on different teams.
But none of those Finals were ever in doubt. The Bulls had it tougher in their own conference dealing with the Knicks, Magic, and, in the late 90s, the Pacers. Chicago and Indy played an epic seven-game series in '98.
No doubt Jordan faced tougher competition than Kobe, but not as tough as Magic, Bird & Dr.J. |

You don't mean at the SG spot, hopefully you're claming as far as TEAMS go. Because at the 2 spot, MJ had it pretty easy up until about the mid 90s, when the uber-athletic 2 guards started to show up in the NBA. Until then, he had it very easy with 6'3, unathletic SGs. Exactly. MJ never faced a dominant center in the finals. MJ faced 6'3, unathletic SGs for a large portion of his career. MJ never faced an eastern conference playoff team that had 2 HOFers. Lovely how FACTS work, ain't it? You can call me "ROC" for short |

Bullshit! The Jordan Rules were UNWRITTEN RULES created by the Bad Boys, and the RULE was "Hit MJ everytime you get a chance, especially when he was going to the rim" because MJ was a whiny-ass bitch, and didn't like contact. And they were right. You can call me "ROC" for short |

Those punks wouldn't even shake hands after the game was over.
They just sulked off to their locker room with time still on the clock never to be heard from again.

Killer of Jordan's father believes he will go free
LILLINGTON, N.C. - A man convicted of killing Michael Jordan's father said in an interview Friday that he will one day walk free from prison, contending a new report on mistakes at North Carolina's crime lab shows the evidence against him is falling apart.
Daniel Andre Green told The Associated Press the finding that investigators mishandled lab reports in his case indicates exculpatory evidence was improperly withheld from him. He said he's been working largely by himself for years to prove he's innocent of killing James Jordan in 1993, though he admits he helped dispose of the body.
"I've always known that I'm walking out of prison," Green said while sitting at a concrete picnic table in the yard of Harnett Correctional Institution. "I've known that because I've believed, ultimately, the truth has to come out."
