On Janet's Facebook page,some fans are brutal! Apparently these people can't get their money back until Janet officially "cancels" the tour (as opposed to "delaying" the tour,as Janet has done).Have any of you had any problems obtaining a refund?
[Quit insinuating that she is preggers, no where in that video does Janet say she is preggers or hints at that. Janet basically says the tour is delayed due to the fact that her and hubby want to try and start a family, period. When and if a pregnancy does occur they will announce it in due time........... if and when it happens. --- luv4u]
I was already watching the whole saga with this era of Janet...now THIS!? This makes absolutely no sense at all.
So I'm supposed to believe she's abandoning the tour because they've suddenly decided to start a family. Wonder how Live Nation, not to mention other entities with financial interests in this tour, are going to react to that?
Interesting that when I go to Livenation.com, I still see all the US shows listed and the site is still inviting me to buy tickets to them.

This tour has been a disaster....filled with cancellations,postponements,rumors of vocal cord surgery (at one point,there were even cancer rumors!),poor ticket sales in some areas,and now the final blow: the 49-year old Janet is pregnant and is cancelling all remaining dates This is unbelievable.

Janet will be 50 next month so if anything they might be looking for a surrogate but that wouldn't justify the cancellations. My guess is that the tour flopped and nobody wants to take the blame for it.

Well, she's either pregnant already or there's trouble in paradise. If it's the former, more power to her and I see the need to cancel a concert--she's at the end of her biological clock. If the latter, she should have went on with the tour. No one cancels a tour to "plan" a family. Glad I got to catch her last year. But, I have to say this might well spell the end of any future tours (if she wasn't done already) because her reputation for reliability is now in tatters. Just my opinion.

I have to admit I was upset last month since I had tickets to one of the shows that got cancelled. Janet is pretty much the only Jackson left that I haven't seen live, since I've seen Michael, Tito, Jermaine, Jackie, Marlon and 3T already.
But.....if she really has been trying for a baby and things are going well in that regard, then I'm happy for her.

but, as i've seen from very close up with 2 different friends who were told they could not conceive (anymore) at all, both got pregnant within a year of 'giving up' on having a(nother) baby. sometimes taking away the stress of trying and just letting go of all that anxiety is enough for nature to go 'you know what....'

Janet Jackson is not giving refunds to those who bought tickets for her cancelled tour
Janet Jackson fans are pissed they're being denied refunds on their Unbreakable tour tickets -- even though they have no idea when or if Janet will be back.
Janet announced Wednesday she's postponing the rest of the tour because she's suddenly starting a family, but was vague about when she'd return. Several of the venues where Janet was supposed to play tell us they haven't gotten official word the tour's been called off yet ... and general consensus is it will go on at a later date.
Ticketmaster sent an email to ticket holders saying, until they get word about a cancellation they're treating it as postponed and rescheduled ... so no refunds.
Even if Janet's camp rolls out new dates in the future, people who threw down hundreds for a seat are stuck waiting months, and possibly more than a year ... depending on her baby situation.

They are NOT happy with Jan at all.. dude from customer service chuckled when I told him I was calling about getting a refund because Janet Jackson publically announced she was delaying her tour dates.. He already knew the situation, he said he's been getting call after call about people wanting their money back for their Janet tickets.. He sounded really agitated too (not with me, but with the whole situation).. dude said that what Janet is trying to do is what Lil Wayne did recently on one of his tours.. He said Wayne went on his Twitter and announced that he was done with his tour, mid-tour, and that he wasn't going to do anymore shows.. The problem with that is Wayne never told any of his promoters he was quitting and he was still legally contracted to fulfill these shows, and thusly ended up still doing a lot of the shows he said he wasn't going to (after negotiations to drop some shows).. the TM guy said this is exactly what Janet is trying to do.. In fact, he said to me verbatim: "she's trying to force these cancellations" He went on to explain that normally, artists who are contracted with their promoters to do these shows do not announce that their bowing out until after signing the agreement with their promoters, production company and ticket distributors that the cancellation/postponement may occur.. he said she's doing this ass-backwards and that her video announcing the delay was the first, and so far only, steps she has taken to reschedule/cancel any of her remaining dates, and that she is making it look really bad for her in regards to any possible future endeavors/tours.. Especially since she has cancelled so many shows already.. you guys.. I don't knoow.. It's legitimately possible that the TM dude was just fed-up dealing wih Janet fans asking for refunds and that he was just spewing his own feelings.. But he wasn't saying to me it like all that was his opinions, he said these are the things that he and his co-workers are being told by their higher-ups... take all this info anyway ya want to... But I can't say any it is hard to believe..

This is gonna get ugly and there will be lawsuits.Janet needs to officially "cancel" the tour (and stop using the word "delay") so that the venues can refund those who purchased tickets
I've read all of the comments and i understand that some of the fans are upset because of Janet's decisions to cancel her tour so that she can start a family. If you're really a fan of Janet you have to realize she's a human being like you and i. She deserves to be happy. Love you Janet and keep doing you!

She is misleading her fans.It would be better to just cancel everything and give fans their money back now.If she decides to tour in the future,start all over and sell tickets again.Many fans don't wanna hold on to tickets for future shows that may not even happen.
