Nope. Apparently she didn’t, but yet that didn’t stop her from scheduling and selling tickets for a tour she most likely full well knew, could be scrapped, because she was trying to get pregnant. What if that procedure in january had to do with her trying to get pregnant? If it was simply a throat operation, like what was suggested by media, why be so secretive about it? Trying to get pregnant, if that works, then just cancelling the tour and if it doesn‘t, just continuing on with the tour and the way it played out jerking around thousands of people, who made plans around her tour.

And really, not everyone has the luxury to see their favourite star in their hometown. Some do have to travel to make it happen. And since not everyone is a millionaire and things are cheaper if you book in advance, some do have to take the risk of getting stuck with nonrefundable costs by booking in advance. So really, don’t blame the fans.

I’m not saying that Janet was in an easy position. I do get that time is running out and if she really wants children, she should rather do it now than later, but to me, the whole way it was handled just looks amateurish at best and selfish at worst on her part. If your plan is to become pregnant, don’t schedule a tour for the same time.

this may be true, but sometimes in life you have to be selfish. she made a life decision for herself, she asked for her fans understanding, alot of fans are over the tour and happy for her, for those that are still upset what is it she's suppose to do?

To many excuses are given to Janet when she is wrong. If this has been any other Jackson they would have gotten horribly bashed. Its only her fans I see giving her excuses the general public was piss at the way she handled the cancellations. Welp, wishing her the best in what ever she decided to do. I personally think she is going to retire from showbusiness. She has nothing to prove anyway.

This is definitly not true. Hunny best believe if I had paid expensive tickets to see MY favorite artist, MICHAEL JACKSON and he abruptly canceled with NO explanation???????

well the other jacksons are men and can have babies anytime they want with no scrutiny. you are saying a woman is wrong for deciding to have a child? and she has been horribly bashed, i mean what more bashing can people do to her that hasnt already been done.

she did give an explanation, she personally addressed her fans and wanted us to be the first to know, she appologized, thanked everybody and asked for understanding...if some people are still upset they will eventually have to get over it because it is what it is. were you upset when mj had to leave his tour and check into rehab?

Your right, people will get over it and the next time Janet decides to tour again those same people won't buy tickets because she has destroyed her reputation in being a professional touring act. This isn't the first time she has canceled a tour over mysterious and unexplained circumstances. The way she handled the cancellations was unprofessional, period. If she was pregnant she should have released a statement, stating she would cancel the entire tour instead of just performing in Dubai, that looks triflin as hell and then she expects everyone to believe she is pregnant after performing Dubai? well if they dont buy tickets they dont buy them. im confused, wasnt peoiple saying her tour wasnt selling too good, but now all of a sudden everybody had tickets? at the end of the day her child will impact her life a hell of alot more than a tour. so im taking jabs at michael because i asked a question about him cancelling a tour? its ok for you to continue to trash janet but you get emotional if mike's name is mentioned. you dont think her fans should forgive her for a tour but you have forgiven and supported mike for much more extreme circumstances.

I don't know why you Janet stans get so defensive. I have all of Janets albums and defend her when people trash her but I also criticize her when she is wrong too. How was she a lair and scammer? It's not like Janet got paid with the money fans paid for tickets. Refunds have been available for weeks now. And yes she has been raked over the coals mainly by people like yourself. Janet will be fine. Life goes on.

The last tour Janet completed was in 2011-2012. So no it hasn't been 2 decades. But than again I wouldn't expect you to know that because you only want to run with the negativity. I agree that she should go ahead and cancel the rest because there's no way in hell she is going to want to tour after having a baby that soon after. I think she was trying to let the fans down easy.

I did forget about that tour (as did most people). But still. ONE tour that she's completed in 18 years. Not counting the ones that never came to be in the first place.

I don't know why she didn't. Likely because it's just embarrassing to call something a WORLD tour and then have it never make it off one continent. But it's also embarrassing to postpone more dates than you actually perform so...
