right? it used to upset me so much when people would say mj sucked or was finished and hadn't even heard the album....and the sales figures and chart positions certainly didn't reflect that, neither did his voice

For example I don't think songs like One More Chance, Beautiful Girl or We've Had Enough even existed by the time Invincible dropped...But if you're just coming up with personal preferred track-list for Invincible I guess it doesn't matter that much...

Also if your list doesn't include Break of Dawn you're crazy

I'd put Shout back where it should have been in place of You Are My Life, but...

Guys, I LOVED the Bad 25 documentary. I've seen it twice now. I laughed, I cried. It was just that good to me. I know it's coming on tv soon, but I really wanted to see it on the big screen, several stories high. Mike, I must love you. I had to wade through tourists, a miniature Mr. T, and a man with a live exotic snake around his neck. I hate tourist traps.

Prince fans, Prince pics are in it, Kat too . John Branca talks about the MJ and Prince meeting at Hayvenhurst where MJ thought Prince tried to put a spell on him There is discussion about P and MJ not doing Bad, and why There are so many great moments. It covered each song, concepts, making of the videos, plus studio footage. It did touch on race, religion, (showed MJ in his disguises when he went door to door as a JW). Martin Scorcese talks about the Bad video, &casting Wesley in Bad. An old interview of Wesley is shown. There's Tatiana on the making of TWYMMF. Joe Pytka was his usual jerky self. Straight dissed Tatiana, said she wasn't in his top 5, & that he didn't like her. He said he told Mike, "Why don't you just F*&% her". I know they won't show that on tv. Tatiana said she was told not to kiss Michael at the end of the video.

I really liked Jeffrey Daniels breaking down the dance moves for Bad, Smooth Criminal, and also Mike's stage show moves with his brothers. There was footage of Jeffrey and Jody Watley doing The Robot on Soul Train. Loved that! Yassss! Then, there was footage of MJ and the brothers doing it, and locking. Mike tore it up, of course! John Branca discusses Mike purchasing The Beatles catalogue, and more. Seth Riggs plays some rehearsal tapes of Mike's vocal exercises. Seth said Mike has a deeper voice, but chose to speak in a higher voice. Lots of musicians, John Barnes, Greg Phillinganes, Ollie Brown, so many others. There's the making of Speed Demon, and the people who worked on the characters. There's the California Raisins commercial.

Siedah Garret explained how she got to duet on I Just Can't Stop Loving You. She also discussed how Man In The Mirror got made, where it came from. Andrae and Sandra Crouch are also in it. I loved the film of Sheryl Crow and Mike on tour. Sheryl speaks in the doc as well. I found out who "Annie" was from Smooth Criminal. The stars on the doc wanted to know who is Annie, and why is she not okay? They discussed "the lean", but didn't tell. There's film from Mike in Africa with Nelson Mandela, they break down Liberian Girl in the doc. Stevie and MJ are in the studio, but that's everyone's least favorite song. They explain how Mike sang with the shower door open at the Hayvenhurst studio. The live concert footage from the Bad tour, The Force is powerful. I swear I wanted to dance in the aisle. Yaaas thanks MadamGoodnight for sharing your thoughts on the documentary. I loved it also and I'm jealous you got to go see it twice. I think one of my favorite parts was during BAD music video, how they explained which parts were MJ's spontaneous moves...I like how not the entire thing was choreographed to every little detail, and yet, MJ made it look like it was. And John Barnes playing I just can’t stop loving you on piano - as random as it sounds it was another favorite part of the documentary for me. I'd really love an instrumental album for all his songs (preferably with piano). I sometimes think because MJ’s voice and singing is so unique and powerful almost overwhelming sometimes that I feel as if I don’t get to fully appreciate the melody, instrumental part of the songs...

"Just Good Friends" gets no love from these producers/musicians (?uestlove called it a coffee break of the album wtf!)and I still can't see what exactly makes this song that horrible.

Cee-lo met MJ at one of Prince's shows in Vegas? Exactly how many P's concerts did MJ attend lol? I thought Prince part was brief and tastefully done. But was it LA reid or ?uestlove or whoever said MJ influenced dance and Prince influenced Musicians - I can see the point he's trying to make but this kind of statement is not necessary and I always take it as minimizing MJ's influence. I mean it's just detrimental for both of them to be compared to each other because they're both great and influential in so many ways!

They also mentioned MJ recorded 60 to 65 demos and that they sound pretty polished too - I'd heard MJ writes over a hundred songs for an album but there are 65 almost finished songs for this album alone? That must've taken literally forever especially considering how carefully he works on songs to make every littlest detail right wanna hear them all!

And I can’t remember when was the last time MJ made me cry but seeing all these people who actually have worked with him for three decades and more crying definitely made me tear up a little. Overall great documentary and I'm so thankful Spike Lee did this

It's funny people think of that as an anti-tabloid song just because of the video (which was what? 2+ years after the song came out) I've always believed it really wasn't about that at all initially. People need to check out the lyrics a little more. That song sounds far more about an ex he's putting down to me. Always did.

But yeah, then Moonwalker came out in '89, and there were dogs in hats representing the press. Whatever.

And though I loved Unbreakable and understand why he sang it given what he was going through, and could relate to it at one point too, with time more and more, it is one of the most cocky songs I've heard in my life lyrically and the beat is too repetitive though when heard on headphones, the experience is different musically. Maybe Heartbreaker, Invincible, 2000 or Threatened should have been one of the first songs on the album with Shout being second. Something like this would be my tracklist
