mjscarousal

Michael has some crazy ass fans. eek

SOME fans even committed suicide when MJ passed eek Their were fans that snuck in his hotels and places he stayed. Also camped outside for weeks just to see him. I doubt Goo Goo fans do that...

It takes no rocket science to know Michael has the most dedicated fanbase

I have offered a music teacher at our school that I could prepare a speech for her classes about MJ and she said yes. I am excited about it and have been preparing for it, but you wouldn't believe how difficult it is to put everything in 90 minutes as well as show them pieces of his videos etc. Impossible task. lol

Just tell the truth and end with "Greatest Entertainer/Musician/Dancer/Humanitarian of all time". Shouldn't take more than 20 minutes. lol Maybe let'em hear some unreleased stuff. That'll knock them off their feet. nod

And I'd like to see what you're gonna say! You can practice here! biggrin

See, I wanna make it clear, short and I definately have to comment on child allegations, trial, vitiligo etc. even though I'd rather talk about the music, but I can't have them walk away and not tell them that. I would also like to bring there a magazine to prove right before their eyes how they lie. I wanna show them some of his greatest videos, rare performances, a short piece of Mexican Deposition where Michael describes how he writes music. I wanna present him as a person. I wanna show them a genius at work and his masterpieces. There's just so much stuff. I've finally learnt to make videos, so I've been putting things together, making subtitles..so much work...,but I love it. lol

That sounds like so much fun. I had a teacher in elementary school in the 90's who loved michael too and would talk about him during a class session every year, and I got Legend Continues off her to dub for myself, cause I was in LOVE already and even more from it smile I even brought in my MJ videos after it for the class. I had younger relatives years later who told me she talked about MJ with them too, before and after the death, so I'm sure you will have the same impact smile I hope you can share your slides with us once you're done.

From Twitter:

@D_MartezShow

Guess who's in Louisiana right now? @Oprah and Paris Jackson, yep, Michael Jackson's daughter... Why? and Where?

Paris Jackson is currently filming a scene from an upcoming movie she's starring in. This caused a BIG commotion b/c the school where

filming took place had to be on LOCKDOWN. Parents started freaking out b/c they thought something happened at the school. The parents were

not told ahead of time about the arrival of @Oprah and Paris Jackson. All of this took place at MSA Academy which is in Plaquemine

Paris Jackson and @Oprah then skipped on over to Nottoway Plantation which is located in White Castle LA so @Oprah could interview Paris.

Pepsi Partners With Michael Jackson Estate for Commemorative Packaging

Limited-Edition Package Coincides With 25th Anniversary of 'Bad'

Pepsi is paying homage to the King of Pop one more time.

The brand is working with Michael Jackson's estate to create a limited edition package featuring the singer, according to an executive close to the company. The package coincides with the 25th Anniversary of the "Bad" album, which was released on Aug. 31, 1987.

The package will be a 16 oz. can available in convenience stores and grocery stores around Memorial Day, according to Beverage Digest. The can, said to have a blue background with an image of Mr. Jackson dancing, is expected to cost 99 cents. Pepsi declined to comment.

Pepsi sponsored the 1988 Bad World Tour. The tour spanned 16 months, including 123 concerts in 15 countries attended by 4.4 million fans. When it concluded, it was the largest grossing tour in history and the tour with the largest audience.

The brand's relationship with Mr. Jackson dates back to 1984 and the "New Generation" campaign. Infamously, the singer's hair caught fire during a commercial shoot that was part of that campaign. Mr. Jackson appeared in a number of commercials for the brand over the years, performing versions of "Billie Jean" and "Bad," among other songs.

Pepsi has a long association with music but has been putting a particular emphasis on that area in the last year. It poured $60 million into a sponsorship of "X Factor," Simon Cowell's music competition, and featured the show's winner, Melanie Amaro, in a Super Bowl spot. The tagline for the ad, created by TBWA/Chiat/Day was "Where there's Pepsi, there's music."

Earlier this week, Pepsi confirmed to Ad Age its relationship with singer Nicki Minaj, who is said to be appearing in a new global campaign for the brand.

Michael gone wild! lol I dont know but maybe he was trying to make things get more rowdy for the video? I cant understand what is being said here but a fan off another board explained this is what was happening:

He was calling the fans to burst in the set and fight against the cops when he saw he wasn't getting it he went to plan B. He wanted to show the police violence during TDRCAU video so he throw himself on top of the cops, and it looks like the cops were hitting him and the crowd. The reporter called the commander of the elite squad and the elite squad came and arrested all the film crew. The video was confiscated by the cops.

Nope. Not even close.

No other entertainer except crazy ass Michael fans would have people releasing DOVES at their trial for fucking child molestation. NOBODY. That right there topped it all for me lol .

Doves?! Doves? Seriously.

I include myself in the fanbase as well as i'm a huge MJ fan but even I was taken aback, like "wtf"? Gaga has crazy fans, but Michael fans are by far on another level of crazy and devotion. I can't see any other entertainer having fans quit their jobs, sell their homes, etc. as MJ fans did to come out and support them every day at a court house as many MJ fans did for him. I can't imagine any other entertainer having this much support especially for such serious allegations as the ones Michael was accused of.

The thing that always amazes me is that Michael has had a huge, devoted fanbase since the 70's. I doubt Gaga will have a crazy, devoted fanbase waiting outside of hotels for her, camping outside of her home and following her when she's in her 40's or 50's like MJ did.

Madonna is really one of the very few older stars who still has a huge, dedicated fanbase, but MJ's fans have always been on another level.

No one comes close to their (or "our" shall I say) level of crazy imo lol .

"And When The Groove Is Dead And Gone, You Know That Love Survives, So We Can Rock Forever" RIP MJ heart

"Baby, that was much too fast"...Goodnight dear sweet Prince. I'll love you always heart
