So MJJC had a Q&A with Jermaine Jackson about Michael, etc. I thought they asked Jermaine good questions.

Michael Jackson's Kid They FAKED My Dad's Voice on 'Michael' Album

0228_paris_micheal_album_getty_ex
Michael Jackson's daughter Paris made a bombshell announcement to friends ... telling them the MJ album released in the wake of the singer's death did NOT contain MJ's actual voice ... it was an imposter.

TMZ has learned ... the announcement was made during an online video chat with several friends in 2010 ... just before the "Michael" album was released, which contains several previously unreleased tracks allegedly performed by Michael Jackson.

The video chat was recorded ... and Paris joked about the footage eventually "leaking" to the Internet.

Paris had made the announcement in the midst of rumors that MJ's parts on the "Michael" album were REALLY performed by an MJ sound-alike named Jason Malachi ... but both Jason and Sony denied the allegations.

During the video chat, Paris played one of the songs from the album, "Hold My Hand" ... and one of her friends asks why the singer doesn't sound like MJ.

Paris replied, "It's NOT him ... the whole album isn't even him!! Go online ... go on YouTube and look up Jason Malachi. That's him!!"

She continues, "I should know if it's him or not because he would sing to me all the time."

TMZ has learned a recording of Paris' video message is being shopped to various media outlets ... and we're told "Offers are on the table."

Interesting-Paris looks so much like MJ to me eek

Oh my god, he is SO beautiful and warm smile I just melted when his teacher called him dear and he came onstage, that smile was so sweet! Those lucky kids that had MJ come to their school! And that outfit is to die for.

I'm pretty sure at some point during 2010 there was original Who Is It music video by vevo on youtube...and then recently I tried to look it up on youtube and I couldn't find it. Seems like they don't even allow fans to upload the original version, which is...quite pointless. I mean it's on vimeo and other video websites already, so why is it only banned from youtube? I don't get it..

This is what youtube says about the Who Is It video:

The original uploader's account was terminated due to "multiple third-party notifications of copyright infringement from claimants including UMG.

Interesting. How reliable is this? I've heard bad things about the daily mail.

I wonder if this means more leaks will be coming question

excerpt from the article (about Sony being hacked, and MJ music being stolen):

Michael Jackson's entire back catalogue has been stolen by internet hackers.

Sony music suffered its second major security breach in a year, with thieves targeting songs and unreleased material by the superstar singer.

It's alleged they downloaded more than 50,000 music files, worth £160million, in the biggest ever cyber attack on a music company.

You know what they say about tabloid news, only about 10% of the story is true but 90% is made up. It's been known some of Michael's unreleased stuff has been hacked but to say the entire catalog is too much.

Yeah, I thought the "50,000 music files" was a bit strange..

not EVERYTHING was stolen. Mostly the cascio tracks, which I dont really mind personally. The more chances for us to hear those craps songs the more we reduce the possibility for it to end up on a future MJ project. Right now it's possibly the cascio tracks and 5 other tracks.

Michael Jackson Sony back catalog stolen by hackers

(CBS News) Two men in the U.K. have allegedly been arrested for illegally downloading 50,000 tracks from Sony's collection of Michael Jackson's back catalog, the Sunday Times reported.

According to the BBC, 26-year-old James Marks and 25-year-old James McCormick are the alleged offenders and were arrested last May. The two have reportedly been released on bail, with a trial scheduled for Jan. 2013. There's no indication that the men are associated with the hacking group Anonymous or LulzSec.

Jackson's entire back catalog was compromised, the latest report says. Sony purchased the rights from the Jackson estate in 2010 for $200 million to complete 10 projects over seven years,Billboard reported. The deal included permission to distribute previously unreleased tracks from "Thriller," "Bad" and "Off the Wall."

While the suspects have been apprehended, the damage may have already been done. If the files reach cyberspace, it will likely cheat the Jackson estate from the opportunity to release the rare tracks on their own terms. There's no information on whether or not any other Sony artists' catalogs were compromised. If so, the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Leonard Cohen and the Foo Fighters may also be victims of the transgression.

The actual crime happened last April when the Sony PlayStation Network was hack and shut down for 23 days due to hackers breaching the company's servers. Personal data from about 77 million customers were compromised in the cyber attack, including names, home addresses, birthdays, usernames and passwords. Sony apologized to customers and offered free identity theft protection services.

Hacking group LulzSec took credit for the security breach. In the following months, Sony Music Japan, Sony Online Entertainment, Sony Ericsson's online store and Sony Computer Entertainment Developer Network were all hacked.

According to CNET, there's no indication that Jackson's songs have circulated on the Internet yet.

That's what I was thinking... but maybe not - it says this hacking supposedly happened last April. Surely the songs would've leaked by now.
