I am SO NOT A FAN of MJB!! shake
I didn't watch the game, but I noticed that one of my friends commented on FB about how good she was! omg

I seriously doubted that, but I refrained from starting an argument about it on her page. lol

Not surprised. She has made a few decent songs but she is

far from what i would call a great vocalist.

I guess Whitney just messed it up for everybody huh? lol

Damn Mary. She still ain't got no control yet? Does she even know her range? She was straight yellin like Alicia Keys at Whitney's funeral.

Yeah Kat thought she was KILLING it. In reality she was in all the wrong ways. So awful.

One thing I love about that song is how its huge range of notes reminds us that many of today’s “singers” can’t actually sing.

Especially Mary J. BILGE

I think there's a difference in an imperfect yet soulful performance from the heart and singing out of your range to the point of yelling. There's no excuse for that in this stage of her career. She started off fine though. wink

Love those two women in your avatar btw razz

Exactly why I haven't been a fan of hers. I like a few of her songs from back in the day, but she's always been a studio singer IMO.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Brutal.

I wish they would stop singing the song altogether.

It is POINTLESS.

I like Mary but she does not have the vocal range to pull off a song like this.... I dont care... The National Anthem was WHITNEYS song... NOBODY I REPEAT NOBODY can touch Whitneys rendition.

It seemed like Mary was struggling to hit the notes.... she had no business singing the song.

She is a freaking comedianne. This was really just a problem of falling on deaf ears; everyone wants to be all serious about this stupid song. Rosanne put something out that was irreverant and really funny. ...better than having some "singer" come out and hack it to bits trying to act like Whitney.

Pressure

i actually see the potential in Kat Deluna's voice. ALl she needs to do is work on her pitch and control.

WHy these singers dont practice their vocals is beyond me. Just because your signed to a label doesn't mean you dont need to keep your voice in shape with a vocal coach.
