I guess they still don't realize that they come off as potential moochers of Michael's death when they attempt to do stuff like this. Some how they have to revamp their image from "How Can We Make Money off of Michael's Fame/Lost Without Coming Off As Leeches?"

If they were constantly working throughout the years I don't think people would be as criticle.

This probably ain't gonna happen

1. Nobody in the business considers the Jackson family as good event planners (esp. Joe/Jermaine).

2. Nobody serious wants to work with "I illegally sell Jackson perfume with my son's logo on it until I'm stopped by my son's Estate" Joe Jackson

3. They most probably didn't ask the Estate, so the Estate (who represents MJ and his kids remember) will have it stopped or will have to give them permission.

4. They do always suddendly have something else to do. Like dishes or something.. they don't want to reunite, only money motivates them, and the only easy money they can get is from Michael's name... Get a life already.

Yeah, I love Graffiti Bridge movie, so what? ''Oooooooooooh Montreal, say it!''

I have no interest in seeing MJ's siblings perform his songs. Even if Janet was there, I wouldn't be all that interested (and I like Janet). I think they should just leave MJ alone and go get jobs and make their own money.

Michael Jackson Show Will Be Global Smash, Say Promoters

The proposed Michael Jackson tribute concert will feature a galaxy of international superstars and will "touch the hearts of millions" around the world, according to organisers.

The King of Pop's mother Katherine and his siblings Marlon, Tito, Jackie and La Toya are working with officials at promotion company Global Live Events to stage a spectacular show in honour of the late star.

Details of the concert, which will benefit charities in the U.S. and the U.K., will be revealed at a special press conference in Los Angeles on Monday (25Jul11), but the promoters are certain the event will be a global smash.

A spokeswoman for Global Live Events says, "(It) will feature the world's most amazing music performers and be in honour of one of the greatest and best-loved entertainers of our time. This spectacular event will touch the hearts of millions around the world

Actually.. if they wrote the right names.. I don't know.

Jackie, Marlon and Tito have always been nothing but respectful toward their bro Michael, I love the 3 of them... But seeing Katherine and LaToya's name makes it less enjoyable..

If the names would have been Joe, Jermaine, Randy.. then I would have said wth cares, it's gonna fail anyway.. so let's see if it really is gonna be a nice thing or if Jackie, Marlon and Tito just switched to the dark side of the family, which I doubt.. Tito's sons loved their uncle so much, Tito wouldn't want to decieve them, even for money... at least I hope..

So I might keep a 0,05% of attention to that...

Yeah, I love Graffiti Bridge movie, so what? ''Oooooooooooh Montreal, say it!''

do you guys think that Joe was taking the majority of their money, b/c they wrote some from Destiny, triumph, victory albums whcih resulted in receiving royalties, and toured alot (since j5, destiny, triumph, and victory tour) I pretty sure they made millions from that. Marlon was working on a book in 2005 called surviving the storms and from the summary it sounds like Joe cheated them alot

summary
Marlon Jackson knew early fame most of us can only imagine as a member of the Jackson 5, one of the most successful singing groups in the history of popular music. Along with his brothers, he performed a grueling number of shows and made huge amounts of money...for his parents. But, as most of us know, there was a dark side to the Jacksons' story of glitter and gold. Terrorized by their father, Joe Jackson, Marlon and his siblings, including Michael, were traumatized, humiliated, and ultimately denied their fair share of their earnings.

SURVIVING THE STORMS is Marlon's story of the dysfunction and heartache that enveloped his family. With revelations about his brothers and sisters and, most shockingly, about his parents that will help explain the tragic paths some of them have chosen, the book will also be an inspiring and entertaining read. Today, Marlon is a successful businessman whose marriage has withstood the tests of celebrity and poverty and who, while wanting to set the record straight, holds no bitterness or rancor. It will be a page-turner for the millions fascinated by all things Jackson.

MARLON JACKSON is an original member with his four brothers of The Jackson 5, a group that has sold more than 100 million records. He is the Founder and Senior Managing Partner of the Major Broadcasting Cable Network (MBC Network), where he brings more than 30 years of business entertainment and operations experience. He is also an avid philanthropist involved with many causes and charities

Joe was a typical stage parent, I don't understand what's so hard to understand about that. He's just like those psycho parents on that terrible show "Toddlers in Tiaras." MJ was such a drama queen, I'm not gonna say he lied about getting "beat" or being "called ugly" but I bet he dramatized some things. And we all know he's not the most honest guy..

Well! I for one hope they can pull it off. Michael deserved this! I mean, there was the memorial, but everyone was still mourning, so that is a different kind of thing! Michael deserves a great tribute concert where he is celebrated. Like Queen managed to do for Freddie Mercury! So I really hope this time it works out.

I swear... that family... disbelief

The Jackson family (Katherine leading) just announced a tribute concert for Oct 8th in UK....

Tickets will be on sale in 11 days BUT

2 steps to follow to 'get' a ticket..

You have to register first and write the donation you're willing to give to the 2 charities involved with the show..

The higher your donation is, the better is your chance to be chosen to buy your ticket...

When you buy your ticket, the amount of your donation is taken at the same time of your ticket payment...

THAT MEANS 0% of your ticket price will go to charities (only your actual donation you gave to be able to get a ticket), all will go to Jackson's family...

http://home.michaelforevertribute.com/home.html

what a way to make money.. or 'help' charities...

Can't believe them...

This is getting more and more weird...

The company Global Live (who organises the show) started a trust fund for MJ's kids and handed a 100 000$ check to an emotional Katherine...

Since when does MJ's kids need a trust fund? They have the Estate taking care of their future already.. and why KJ so emotional about it like they were in the middle of a famine?

I mean.. why give the kids 100 000$... if this is a charity show.. give it to the charities! OR.. maybe the 100 000$ given to 'the kids' will in fact serve to pay the Estate (i.e. future of the kids) to have permission to do the show...

oh lawd... using the kids again to make it look so cute and valuable... I feel sick...
