This thread gave me such a good laugh, I'm glad she had guts to tell them off for booing her for talking about mj! But I've also heard she's not singing like before anymore so it's probably for that reason they left too.

I saw Bobby's Behind The Music and really feel for him now and it seems like he's doing much better now than she is.

From what I heard, she wasn't really saying much, she was just rambling. I'm sure they probably cheered initially when MJ was brought up. I'm quite sure of it. BUT they came to see someone SING. It isn't like she's Patti LaBelle. Least when Patti talks she doesn't bore folks but Whitney rambles as if she's only talking to herself. She probably had her back turned on the audience.

Back in the 80s when I worked in the Mall, a "warning" of sorts would go thru the mall when Whitney and her entourage (gang ) came shopping. They were loud, ignorant, and acted like they've never been anywhere before.

One time, Whitney and a couple of her girlfriends were riding in the glass elevator, and she just started singing at the top of her lungs. People were gathered watching, then she just started laughing.

In our store, we'd all try to get out of helping her when she came in because she was so damn rude to the salespeople. We'd volunteer to steam clothes in the back, clean out fitting rooms, check in boxes... anything to avoid having to wait on her.

Oh yes... she's been a hot mess for years!

Didn't she and her entourage ganged up on somebody in a hotel back in the early 90s? I don't remember why but what I remember is when somebody from Inside Edition asked her at the time about it, she gave her "classic" facial expression, rolled her eyes and said "I'm a lady"

I love it, thats the same line she gave Wendell Williams after she lashed out this tirade about how back in the day she would've showed up at Wendell's booth to kick her ass, but she wouldn't now because "she's a lady"

I believe it though, one of my aunties once said "Never cross anybody who can take a real ass whoopin",,,oops
