The Gold Experience = Nº1 position

and that's fine by me, it's a solid album; certainly not as groundbreaking as his 80s work, but full of 5 stars songs...

I think it's a good record, but there are at least 5 90's albums by him that I enjoy more. boxed

Hmmm, for me prince Love Symbol is his best 90s album; other than that, I only truly enjoy TGE and D&P...

I would rank Prince's 90s albums like this:

The Gold Experience
The Undertaker
Chaos And Disorder
prince
Diamonds And Pearls
Graffiti Bridge
Come
Crystal Ball
Emancipation
The Vault: Old Friends 4 Sale
Rave Un2 The Joy Fantastic
The Truth

The Undertaker
Chaos And Disorder
prince
Exodus
Diamonds And Pearls
Graffiti Bridge
Come
Crystal Ball
Emancipation
The Vault: Old Friends 4 Sale
Rave Un2 The Joy Fantastic

NPG albums are Prince albums the same way Funkadelic albums are George Clinton albums.

I forget about Exodus and NewPower Soul only because they are filed under "N" in my collection and not under "P" with the other Prince stuff.

I got NPS listed under Prince, cuz how is that a NPG album? Just like Kamasutra.

Goldnigga and Exodus are, to me, related artists, as one has too much Tony M. and the other has too much Sonny Thompson.

It's an NPG album because Prince says so. Which is a good enough reason for me.

Well, yeah. The last time I did what Prince told me to do was wear something peach and black to the concerts in 1987.

Related artist folder. I know where you getting at, but it's a joint Leeds/Prince venture.

And the first Time album? I'm sure Prince's reasons for crediting NPS to the NPG weren't arbitrary. If an artist wants to label their work a certain way, then who am I to say different?
